My last review had not been great with a poor room, not clean. But all was good this time with the standard of comfort and cleanliness that make for a food stay. Of course, hard to find a more lovely, quiet and central place on Sydney Harbourside. Recommend a take away pizza or curry from Blues Point if you want to kick back and relax.

Our family of three (two adults, one child) stayed two nights at Harbourside during the January holidays 2012 and we were not disappointed. I had always wanted to stay in this establishment and the views of the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Anzac Bridge were stunning.
We were surprised to find the unit had no airconditioning but opening the windows ensured a nice sea breeze and with the ceiling fans going the outside heat was not a problem.
The convenience of having cooking facilities and crockery and cutlery suited us perfectly as we had brought our own food.
Our apartment was clean with fresh sheets and towels and had a very comfortable main bed and sofa bed.
One slight disappointment in Rm 61, level 13 was that the fridge was not cold only cool though we turned the dial onto "coldest." The freezer worked well. We put up with it, not a huge issue but let the staff know when we left.
The reception girls were courteous and friendly and we could not fault them.
We would definitely stay here again.

This is my Sydney stay of choice due to the location, convenience, simple comfort and good prices.

However, my most recent stay was a bit of a let down. The apartment was dirty with furniture in the wrong place. No other apartments were available so the reception staff did their best to clean up whilst I had to go out. Although the place was cleaner on my return I was not convinced that the bedding was fresh - probably just paranoia!

The hot water was provided by an unflued gas heater so there was a bit of a smell and a sooty ceiling in one corner.

I have had good experiences here so will try again but this is a bit of a hit and miss place and next time I hope for a hit!

We rented four apartments for our son's wedding last weekend. It was great. The apartments were on varying levels at varying prices. They were all spacious, clean and well equipped. The views from our top floor one were truly amazing. The location is great, with the ferry into central Sydney right there. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, and we were made to feel welcome. The only minor negative is the lack of free or reasonably priced internet.
