A friend had booked this place for 5 days over the new year period. I checked the reviews on trip advisor and was very apprehensive about staying here. We thought we'd be out all day and it'd just be a place to sleep.
WRONG! I came home and killed at least 5 cockroaches every night! It was stuffy and humid at night which was why it attracted such a party. They provide insect spray obviously knowing how disgusting their rooms are. I changed my sheets everyday and tapped them out every night to make sure it was clear. Thank goodness I survived without anything crawling on me. Although my friend did have one crawl on her face while she was asleep!!!
The fan was broken and covered with a good 2cm thickness of dust and a black bin bag to cover. Carpet and tiles were dirty.
Whenever we opened the window for fresh air, it smelled more like urine. Walls were cracked all over the place with permanent stains of dead cockroaches killed in the past. The curtains were dusty and covered in cob webs. I was too scared touch them.
The bathroom looked like it was in a house that hadn't been occupied for decades. Rusty bath tub and slimy handles and shower curtains...a broken window for those who want a free show while you're showering...toilet cubicles half the size of have an average cubicle...you basically can't maneuver without touching the walls (and mind you I'm quite small).
The only good thing about this place is that there's a nice Thai restaurant close by. That's it! On your way home, there are plenty of female and transvestite prostitutes on the main street if that's your thing.
So in conclusion, don't be a stinge! We didn't have a choice cos of the new years period...it was too late to look for something else. But if you read this now, DON'T STAY HERE! I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE. Please listen to all those previous reviews. Not worth the cheap price! I want to see if the manager would actually stay there.
