In Sydney for a exhibition and found this hotel very handy to Darling Harbour (easy walk) which gives you easy access to all the facilities in Darling Harbour, also an easy walk to downtown. The area is very quiet and there is very little traffice noise at night, also off Harris street so quieter foot traffic as well.
THE HOTEL: The prices were fairly reasonable for Sydney and the location, the staff were freindly and helful but that is as far as the good points extend.
The reception area was very old and tired, the rooms were equally old and tired, the beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom was damp and mouldy. The buffet breakfast was horrible, the hot food was cold and the cold food was hot, service was not there.
If your budget is low and you want somewhere close to Darling Harbour and happy to rough it is a below 2 star hotel, then this is for you.
