Stayed here for a long weekend with family. We were up in Sydney seeing Alan Davies's live show. The room was large and comfortable,, clean and well provided for. (It could have done with a microwave.) Staff were polite and friendly, very accommodating. Yes, being next to a main road was little, but not greatly, noisy at times. A short walk to the railway for travelling into the city centre. Shopping area with reasonable restaurants within walking distance.

Many thanks for writing a review on TripAdvisor. We greatly appreciate your comments and I will share them with the team. Yes, we will definately look into your microwave in the room suggestion, at the moment we have the microwave in the atrium when guests can heat up their food and enjoy them in the dining area. We didn't provide the microwave in the room at this stage. This is to prevent food odour on the curtains and carpets. We are in a search for a very efficient air purifier to prevent that. We offer cutleries, plates, wine glasses and other conveniences as well.
We will hope to welcoming you back at Garden Lodge Sydney one day again.

“Clean room. Friendly Staff.”
We selected this hotel due to its proximity to ANZ stadium and based on previous reviews.
The rooms were spacious and clean. They were service daily. The only annoyance was the shower did not have doors. This meant that whenever you have a shower, the entire bathroom would get wet.
The hotel has one washing machine and dryer free of use for guests.
We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff.
I probably won't recommend this for tourists wishing to see the main sites of Sydney, eg. Opera House, Harbour bridge, etc. unless you have a car. There is a nearby train station which is around a 10 minute walk. However, for similar price you should be able to obtain accomodation closer in to the Sydney CBD.

We've installed large 10mm safety glass panels to prevent splashing on the garment rack and the toilet seat. Our shower stall is an extra large 1 meter square area with a powerful big shower rose which larger size guests (most guests actually) finds it enjoyable. Do inform us, we will be more than happy to provide you with extra 100% cotton bath mats.
We offer secured free car parking as well. All our guests save on high city car parking fees and we are just 15 minutes to the CBD.
We will hope to welcoming you back at Garden Lodge Sydney one day again. We hope to introduce our new spas.

“Loved Our Stay With our 20 Months Old Daughter”

I was scred when i booked this place but this is best Place i loved It its 5 Minutes walk from Train Station I recommend this place and whenever i go sydney from canada i will love to stay there again i really like the Manager he is Very Nice and he knows how to deal with His Customers :) I was very happy with our stay we lived the for about week :)

The hotel was easy to find. The staff members were friendly. This hotel was located a bit far away from the shopping cenre. But as long as you have a car, there should be no problem. Although I rated this hotel 'average', but no doubt it's value for money.
