The Haven Inn was old, dirty and dingy.
There is no courtyard breaky.. There is no clean linen. There are hairs on the pillows supplied complimentary. the bathroom comes with mould and scum-and a spa so dirty and stained I wouldn't wash my dog in! Dont do it!!!

Absolutely disgustingly dirty, nothing works properly, rude staff, and riddled with BED BUGS!!!!! The is no doubt that the website is false advertising. I can't believe that this place is even aloud to trade, obviously our regulatory bodies are not doing their job!

I wish I had read all the reviews of this motel before I booked. I was happy at the time of booking because the motel looked beautiful on the website. What a difference it is in person. We arrived to no underground parking, when we inquired, the "receptionist" came out and grudgingly moved his own motorbike, and then we had to get him to park our car as the parking spaces were so small.

When we were told we were on the third floor we took the steps with trepidation due to our first impressions. When we got into the room it was like an oven and smelled. There were tiles missing off the bathroom floor, the smoke alarm was hanging from the roof, the "balcony view" was over a back lane and into a rundown house next doors yard. The stairs down to the pool were filthy with half the roof missing in the stairwell. The cleaners cart was just left at the end of the corridor under the missing roof, god knows what bugs extra would have gotten into it. The pool had tiles missing from around the edge and was fithly and rusted on the sides. The steps and hand rails into the pool were very loose and unstable. There was no restaurant as the website predicted, you were directed over to a cafe across the road where we found out that the owner of the cafe was the owner of the motel. On our second day the air con broke and when we asked about it the reception said there was nothing he could do. We demanded to be moved and was eventually moved into a room smaller (if possible) than the first, thank god it was only for one night. They also claim on their website that movies are free, however they aren't. The whole motel is a disgrace and should be shut down for being filthy, not meeting aus safety standards and unsafe.

I would never recommend it to anyone, total disgrace.

Great Location easy access to sydney however first night slamming doors all night by other unrully guests. second night same thing with yelling and screaming, swimming in the pool at 1am no one in reception to control guests. 2:45am the fire alarms activated in all rooms due to parties smoking? in lower floor all guests awoken and exited rooms all othe guests confused no one from mangement to direct guests. Guests established that there was no fire however alarm continued for 35 minutes without any explaination. Alarm extremely loud! Explaination by staff that morning "I can do nothing about it"
