Upon arriving for a one night stay, we were greeted with a very low standard of service which unfortunately continued throughout the next 24 hours. We checked into our allocated room ($220) and found that it was not only small and pokey, it was also a disabled room. The shower was surrounded by a short curtain and all the shower water lapped around the entire bathroom floor. I would be on the toilet after having a shower an hour before and have my own shower water at my feet. Disgusting. Then there was no TV remote for the small LCD TV. After the wedding we attended, we hopped into bed to find that the 'standard room' bed was in fact two beds thrown together and could feel the gap between the two beds. Breakfast the next morning was appalling, particularly the eggs and bacon. I am no chef and I could have easily done better. I have stayed at Vibe hotels before and this was a rude shock. The only good thing was its location, next to a lovely park and waterfront.
