Stayed one night at this hotel in January 2012. Wanted to have a full harbour view room and got what I wanted. I paid £250GBP for a one bedroom harbour view apartment and I would say it done what it said on the tin. The room was clean, spacious and the views were amazing. Harbour bridge on the left of the balcony and opera house straight ahead. The balcony was huge and had 2 sun loungers and a table and chairs to enjoy the view. I was fortunate enough to get a small fireworks display happen the night I was there which made the night complete. It is in a great location in the Rocks, easy to get to from circular quay..even walking with luggage, a small uphill walk but nothing bad. The door is kind of concealed but still easy enough to find. I didn't have breakfast included and hadn't planned on eating in the hotel, however, in the morning it was pouring with rain so decided to use the buffet breakfast, at $24aud it was not worth the money, very basic cooked food, toast, banana bread, fruit and cereal. If you book the night before it is cheaper but not much. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. I only wish I had been able to get use of the pool facilities but the weather is not in the hands of the hotel staff haha....if ur looking for harbour views, outdoor pool, handy for the rocks and circular quay then this is a great hotel.
Room Tip: Go for the 1 bedroom apartments with harbour view ...otherwise this is just an average hotel!
