Stayed here January 2012 with 3 kids, on 5th floor overlooking the intersection of Sussex & King Streets. Having paid more than I really wanted to , I expected at least a decent standard of accomadation. However the lift was quite frightening, the corridor to our room was claustrophobic & stunk & then we entered the room........a small, crowded ,dingy mess. Everything was old, dirty,chipped & broken. Very unappealing. Beds were uncomfortable & the noise from the street was loud & continued ALL night. Room had tall windows which were impossible to cover completely with the vertical blinds, so felt that others across street could always see into room. Carpet was shabby & bathroom old & in need of a good clean
( or preferably a total overhaul). Would NOT recomend to anyone. I have stayed in better & certainly much cheaper hostels. An absolute disgrace. They should be ashamed to charge that much.

I was pleased with my stay at these apartments, mainly because I had a room on a high floor. During my stay there were roadworks directly outside which were INCREDIBLY noisy, and I dread to think what guests in lower floor rooms were going through. This can hardly be blamed on the hotel of course, but it does illustrate that a fair amount of noise from outside can be heard. There is a pub directly across the road which gets busy, but can't say I was disturbed too much by this.

There are a few steep steps to enter the premises, but this did not unduly worry me personally. Could be a bit awkward for others though

No complaints about the room at all. Very clean and tidy, and well appointed. I especially liked the open-plan feel of the place, with the view out across Darling Harbour.

No complaints about the service either. The little dealings I had with staff were always efficient and drama-free.

The location is perfect, Darling Harbour is pretty much right outside your door.

Overall, had a pleasant stay, but definitely try to get a room as high as you can.

I was very impressed with these apts.The harbour is just 2 mins across the road,where you can get a ferry which takes you under the famous bridge on your way to see the opera house.It is a tad noisey, but i travel every where with ear plugs so had no probs realy, and my two kids never moaned at all, in fact they loved the place.The best thing about this place is the location

I stayed here with my mother and my grandmother. It was a great room however the stairs were too much for my grandmother. Even for me at times in the middle of the night when I was sleepy and had to treck up about 20 steps. A bit far from the bridge but you can catch a ferry.It is a great location for shopping trips as George St is only a stone throw away. Clean room, helpful staff. The only things that i was not happy with was the balcony not being paved and got very muddy in the rain and the enormous sounds of traffic passing by at all hours of the day and night.
