We stayed 3 nights at Four Points By Sheraton Darling Harbour. Upgraded to a Darling Harbour Suite, and it was just fine. The suite was a good size, and generally well set out, although the furniture will be due for replacement in a couple of years. There were two TVs, essential for any married couple. Bathroom was a good size, and the bed was extra-comfy. The view over Darling harbour. was wonderful, We were undisturbed by noise when at rest

Check in was as smooth as, although our suite was not ready when we arrived. We arrived early, but had advised the hotel of this. But luggage was taken and we wandered off to see the Harry Potter exhibition so I could buy a Voldemort wand with which to curse enemy golfers. I had thoughtfully told the hotel that it was our wedding anniversary, and they thoughtfully gave us a bottle of bubbly. Nice touch.

The hotel is central to just about everything. Directly behind the Darling Harbour aquarium, and the ferry wharves, it is no more than a 15 minute walk to anywhere in the harbour complex. The staff are unobtrusive, and efficient.

It was a pleasant experience, and we'll stay there again. It is worth paying for a suite upgrade. There are always, it seems, deals.

On the downside, WiFi at $25 per day is just a rip-off. It is apparently available in the lobby for free. If you have an iPad, just get a sim card. Saves heaps and reception is fine.

At $35 per head brekky is exorbitant. Never mind, there are dozens of cheaper alternatives within a few minutes walk.

I was here with my sister over Christmas last year. The location is great! It is very convenient; there is a 24hour mart right across the street. If you head out the main lobby, turn to you right, you will see an overhead bridge which will lead you to the mall across the harbor. Awesome view while you cross. Wildlife park and aquarium just around the corner too. Everything is walk-able! The monorail is close by, Sydney Tower is about 10mins walk away. Paddy's market is about 15-20mins walk away, or you could just take the monorail down to Chinatown. It is bright and safe to walk around the area at night.

The rooms are clean. Fresh towels everyday. Lobby has free Wifi and the connection is pretty decent.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

We'll definitely be back again! :)

Every time we go to Sydney, which is often, we always checkout the traditionally more "budget" hotels in an attempt to reduce the daily hotel rate. However, each time we end up in a Starwood hotel who offer amazing deals if you are there for more than a couple of nights. Last time it was the Sheraton on the Park and this time the Four Points.

To start, we flew in from Darwin arriving at about 6am. Obviously check-in was not until something like 2pm however on our arrival we took a chance and enquired. The staff could not have been more helpful. They had a room ready for us in an hour or so and provided wonderful facilities for a shower and a change of clothes. We then set off for breakfast in the city feeling like new people.

Every single staff member in the hotel is amazingly helpful, courteous and responsive. Unprecedented levels of service for Australia to be totally honest. We were blown away!!

On our return from the morning walk all out bags had been already taken and set up in our room (City View King Level 9) and it was time for a relax. The rooms are a bit dated but are extremely comfortable and practical. The beds are wonderful - except the "king" we had was actually two beds joined and you could feel the seam - a bit poor. Nevertheless the sleep was great and never had a problem. Tv has all the required channels and the room is generally quiet and comfortable. Someone just needs to clean a bit better behind the Tv which was very dusty - only noticed because I changed the tv position though.

LAte check-out was no issue and everything was just too easy.

PS the location is FANTASTIC!!!

Will absolutely try to stay here again next time in Sydney. Real thumbs up for the staff and I hope this review is passed on by management.

I stayed here for 2 weeks on business and this was an excellent location for both business and pleasure. I found all the staff friendly and the place was always spotless. The gym was well equipped and there was lots to do in the area.

Tony the concierge was excellent and he brightened up my morning daily!
