We always try and stay at this hotel because of its proximity to Central Station. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, with buses to take you right down to Circular Quay along George Street, if you don't feel like walking all the way, and the return stop is just across the road. Very handy. Rooms are a good size, and the beds are very comfortable. The shower is great, with lovely hot water. This time we arrived about 8 am and were given our room straight away. Had a quick coffee and then ventured out having bought our day tripper ticket before leaving Central. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff at this hotel. We always have breakfast at this hotel, and this time we had dinner there as well because it was pouring outside. Will always stay there when possible, and would certainly recommend it to anybody visiting Sydney.

The rooms were nice and modern. Really close location to central station. A 15 min or so walk to darling harbour - but about a 40 min walk down george st to the opera house etc. Next time we will probably stay more central as we walked everywhere rather than taking public transport. The price was decent considering as we booked early and got a discount. The weather was average so we didn't get to swim in the pool - which was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. It was very windy up on the roof top. Overall a clean and nice place to stay while being out most of the day looking around Sydney.

I have reviewed this hotel before for the excellent service,
I have stayed here many times and am constantly impressed with the level of service by the friendly staff. However, until recently I have always wondered into China Town to eat, but during my last couple of stays have found the food in the hotel dining room for dinner to be of a very high standard. The menu is not vast, but the quality of the food is outstanding. I am not normally a big fan of hotel food, but the Marque dining is definately worth a try!

This is a well positioned property which gives excellent access to the Sydney transport system, including trains to the airport, the suburbs and/or the wider NSW network. The hotel is across the road from the station but has no railway noise problems. It also provides excellent access to Chinatown. One particularly refreshing approach by management is that the minibar prices are fair to the customer in comparison to other hotels, worldwide, who want hold patrons to ransom with their prices. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
