Morgans calls itself 'boutique' hotel but its more 'antique'. Its located in the uber cool area of Darlinghurst but it could do with serious refurbishment. The rooms were small, dark and dusty. Although they were serviced daily and the service staff was courteous. The kitchen essentials were absolutely bare minimum. Could have done with some more crockery and cutlery. Every time we turned one of the the cooktops the circuit breaker would cut off electricity which we were told would be attended to.The bathroom tiles were broken at one place and there was an earthworm in the bathroom. After which we asked to be shifted. We were staying there for 7 days so would have appreciated a better room. The reception staff were very helpful. Lot of hip eateries around but living between so many kitchens was a cause for concern in case of a fire.
It was quite a walk to CBD and the Quay.
