“Pleasantly Suprised”

I'd spent too many hours reading reviews on different hotels in Sydney and it seemed most people are really picky and find fault with soooo many things in so many places.In the end I just got confused about good and bad so bit the bullet and booked The
Vibe despite anything negative I'd read...So glad I did this hotel is just lovely, bright happy very clean and rooms were bigger than I expected noise was not an issue despite it seeming to be really busy on the night we stayed and its location was just perfect for what we needed.Check in was a dream come true and so was checkout..The Vibe will have a new regular customer from now on..

“Good location, dodgy room”

Spent one night at the Vibe, it was ok, wouldn't rush back but that may be because of the room we were given. We requested a high floor but got room 313 (we did book through wotif), requested a king bed but got a double and two singles. I guess every request can't be accommodated but it is disappointing. The windows in the room were filthy and there was lots of water damage on the walls near the windows. Tiles in the bathroom need regrouting. Bed not very comfortable. Breakfast was included in our rate..it was adequate but not too exciting. Location is very handy to the city and Chinatown, very close to the 555 free bus loop.

Room Tip: Request a high floor....take your togs, pool looks nice!

Thank you for your feedback regarding Vibe Hotel Sydney.
I have asked our maintenance team to fix all areas you have mentioned in the room today. The windows have been cleaned and the water leak issue is being investigated. We apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused.
We have changed the bed in the room today and the team will be re-grouting the bathroom as well.

“Real service, real style, REALLY GOOD!”

My husband and I spent a pre cruise night at the Vibe and were astounded at the quality of service and the quality of the accommodation. The reception staff were wonderfully accommodating and we were offered an upgrade on the night of our arrival to a one bedroom suite, located on the 5th floor. Although a little traffic noise was audible in the morning, we slept well during the course of the night. The only negative I could list is the bed ... this was exceptionally soft, old and had several protruding/noisy springs which was evidence of its wear and tear factor and really needed replacing.
The breakfast staff were courteous and very helpful and would like to thank them for making our breakfast experience a memorable one. The location of the Vibe is central and convenient and I would defintely stay here again when next in Sydney. By the way, if you enjoy a good massage, there is an excellent Thai massage place virtually a one minute walk away on the same side of the road. It is near the convenience shop on the corner. Wonderful massage at a reasonable price - 60 minutes cost us $90.

Returned here after enjoyable time on previous stay. Booked quad room again. Rooms always well clean and equipped. Handy location and reasonably priced. Would recommend a stay here

“Very good, especially for Sydney”

Now as a Melbournian, people may think am a tad biased!

I've stayed in a number of Sydney hotels, and I must say for a mid-range, quality stay, I couldn't go past the Vibe. Vibe was located within walking distance of most Sydney landmarks.

Check in was speedy, and the reception staff were knowledgeable. Really spacious room, clean, decked out in the little things that a girl (or boy) could need. I didn't like their bar/breakfast area, and customer service there was pretty poor; though room service was good.

I will stay here again (subject to cool discounts of course).
