The layout of this Hotel reminded me of a prison. Although clean the rooms were like little cells with a sliding door as the entrance to your room. All rooms are clustered around the pool area so you can almost look into a neighbours room. The staff were friendly but it is no compensation for a lousy Hotel. Adjascent to us there seemed to be a family of Boat people living there permanently and the smell of their cooking was really overpowering. It might be cheap but give it a miss.

We stayed for 2 nights the week after New Years so the motel was very full. The pool and spa area was fantastic hard to find a long pool that you can do laps in. The room was a little dated and the bathroom defintely needs a spruce up. Motel is walking distance to beach. The management were very polite and friendly and very apologetic when our room wasn't serviced by the cleaners. We weren't too worried as only need fresh towels but they brought us biscuits etc. Would recommend for a quick jaunt especially if your not planning to spend loads of time in room.

Stayed in March 2010 and Motel has obviously been re painted. Rooms are clean, beds
are comfy and friendly staff. Ideal for short term break and we would liked another 2 or 3 nights but on our way to Gold Coast.
