Stayed Friday and Saturday nights in a deluxe room. The décor throughout is uber stylish, in keeping with the 8Hotels brand. I guess it's a conversion of an existing three storey building (in "old" Acton), which adds to the sense you have that it's a one-off design rather than a cookie cutter chain hotel. Room likewise stylish and super quiet; not the biggest deluxe room I've stayed in but impeccably appointed.

The hotel is in this redesigned New Acton precinct, which has its yuppy Disneyland side to it, but is on the whole a successful piece of urban renewal: outdoor cinema area, some old growth trees and original structures retained, some reasonably appealing bits of public art. Diamont fits seamlessly into this environment, which is one of the nice things about the hotel, I thought. It's worth getting a pass card to use the gym at the adjacent apartment complex to check out the high concept modern art foyer. We also loved the restaurant, Bicicletta: nice design and atmosphere, good food, friendly service, not too expensive. On the whole a lovely stay: not cheap, but I felt we got value for money.

Have just returned from a weekend in Canberra. The Diamant Hotel was terrific. Staff were efficient and friendly. Room was delightful. Very quiet. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast all good. Would highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay, it is a great hotel to stay due to many reasons which are, its location which was close to city and my business, excellent standard of rooms clean ,fresh and things are spit and span all request taken care of, polite and efficient staff which can be seen from their excellent and quick service. The turn down service was great and quick , the time on check in I was asked for assistance with my bags and was shown a curtsy.Great food of hotel restaurant. The amenities in the room were great and up to date. A perfect place to live for a business person. I would love to stay here with my family when I come back to Canberra for my next visit. A great price for such a up to mark quality rooms. Keep it up

We stayed here just overnight and was delighted by the service. We were upgraded without a request because they could. The location is very convenient to tourist attractions, Canberra centre shopping and the airport has a direct route. Loved to shower and deep bath. Thank you for a lovely stay.
