I get the impression that a lot of people want to pay $89 and expect the Hyatt. Cmon people wake up. You go here for the cheap rooms and yes they are small, but they are clean and are about half the price (if not a third) of other hotels in Canberra. Dont try and squeeze a family of 4-5 in the one room. I have stayed at another Formule 1 in Europe and the rooms are almost a standard fare. A very basic shower and loo cubicle. A double bed, a/c and TV on the wall. The staff are alright as long as you dont expect the concierge in the foyer. My only complaint was the exhorbitant costs of the wifi. $20 for 3 hours with a download limit. I expect to pay, but that was just a gouge. You will turn repeat guests away at that price.
