Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The room was warm and cosy and the facilities were first class. The evening meal and breakfast you prepared for us was second to none and the warm welcome we received made us feel so much at home. We will return again when we are on our travels and we have sung your praises to all our friends and told them about your lovely bed and breakfast recommending them to stay with you when they are down your way. Excellent in every way . We were travelling south from a holiday in Scotland . Two adults , two teenage children . We finally arrived at 10 p.m in a gale . We received a warm welcome.
Parents had the double with a nice bathroom just opposite on the other side of the corridor . The kids had the twin with an en-suite .
We discovered the beautiful house and impressive views in the morning .

A tip : you should leave junction 20 as the owners advise , we took 19 when we arrived , and 20 when we left . 20 is much easier .
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here .

Stayed for one night in this lovely b&b on way further north. Stunning location and views, warmest welcome, sumptuous accommodation and delicious food! What more could you want? It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere and the views certainly support that, but you are in fact only 15 mins or so from the motorway. Ideal stopover just over the border. Not only do we recommend Torbeckhill, we actively encourage you to try it! Definitely opt for the evening meal if you can - food on a par with best restaurant or masterchef! Have stayed in many b&bs over last couple of years and this has to be one of the best ever. We were on our way to get married and our night in Torbeckhill was the perfect start to a perfect week. We will definitely be going back!
