I chose Paradera Park based on the reviews from Trip Advisor, and we were not disappointed. It is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for relaxation in paradise!! It takes about 15 minutes to get there from the airport. Debby gives very good directions! Make sure to rent a car though as taxi's are pricey, and you do not want to miss out on the entire island! It is quite breath-taking!! Debby even booked our car rental for us.

The grounds at Paradera Park reminded me of a Tropical Oasis, It's very beautifully landscaped and the pool is awesome! The rooms are exactly as described. Extremely clean, the bed was comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, etc... Everything that you need except the food! Tip: If you are a coffee drinker, bring your own, as the grocery stores are priced higher than in the U.S., and if you drink liquor or wine, bring your own! Or, or you can buy the duty free at the airport before you get to Aruba.

They do have Wi-Fi, but to get a good signal you have to sit right outside of the office area. There is a slight signal around the pool too. Although, we were on vacation, I should have left the convenience of technology behind.

Don't miss out on the beaches, it takes about 10 minutes or so to get to Palm beach! Debby and Henk are very helpful with directions and excursions! We will definately return!

Upon arriving for a weeks stay over Christmas, we were greeted with the news that there had been an "error" on their part and that they could not house us for our last nights stay. They did however, make arrangements for us to stay at another apartment complex that was 15 minutes away. Debby was apologetic but did not offer to compensate us for their mistake and the inconvenience of moving to a different location, until I pressed her for such. By having to relocate, packing up our belongings and grocery items, checking in to the new place and unpacking things, we lost most of that final day's free time.

This was most regrettable since it was our last full day on the island and we were not able to enjoy what we had done every other day which was to relax on the beautiful beaches of Aruba!

I would not have written about this debacle if Paradera Park had been able to show us that the people taking our room on the last night had made their reservation before ours. Upon checking out, I asked Hank to establish that fact with us and he told me that he didn't know what the reservation error was! Additionally, when we checked into the other apartment complex, I recognized several other guests around the pool who were also formerly at Paradera Park. That combination of events implied to me that there was more to it than a simple 'error' in our reservation.

Also you should know that you will need to sleep with the windows closed and the air conditioning on. The constant barking of dogs and noisy parties nearby were not conducive to enjoying the nice evening tropical breezes.

We have spent the New Year's holidays in Aruba for the past 10+ years. When we found the Paradera Park Apartments, we were delighted. Not liking the busy high rise environment and large hotel atmosphere, we have found Paradera a perfect spot for us to relax and unwind. We can have privacy sitting around the pool or visiting with guests from other countries.

Paradera Park is just a short distance from restaurants and downtown. It is a perfect place for relaxation and friendly atmosphere. The owners are delightful and ensure that all of our needs are met. Would definitely recommend highly.

Paradera Park is the perfect spot if you are looking for a peaceful and authentic place to stay that's not part of the extremely busy hotel area. After a day at the beach, we always enjoyed coming "home" at Paradera and some days we simply stayed at Paradera to relax. The swimming pool and the area around it is an absolute perfect spot; it's partly shaded and beautifully surrounded by trees and flowers. It also features a BBQ. We stayed with our three children (between 3 and 8 years old) in the 2 bedroom apartment. We felt so at ease here! The children loved hanging out in the hammock and in the swimming pool. The apartment was very clean and had everything one needs to cook a decent dinner. Debbie and Henk are the perfect hosts; very easy-going and willing to share their knowledge of the island (make sure you ask for things to do!!). We were pleasantly surprised by the beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys and cool box we could use. We think it's the perfect spot for both families (with young or older children) and couples (newly-wed and older). Highly recommended! Oh and make sure that you ask Debbie about the jewelry she makes and sells!
