Our three night stay at Clovelly House has been all we could have hoped. Graham and Fay are thoughtful and friendly, with just the right amount of interaction. The room was pleasant - clean and comfortable, the gardens delightful with lots of nooks to sit and admire the surroundings. Breakfast each morning provided the opportunity to interact with other guests, which is one of the main attractions of a true old-style bed and breakfasts. The house is only a few minutes' drive from Hobart. We'd happily return.

We stayed at Clovelly House for 3 nights, and was one of the highlights of our trip! Graham and Fay were informative and friendly, and we met other great guests at Clovelly House which made breakfasts every morning such a wonderful experience. We really looked forward to the morning conversations with other guests each day. Breakfast included cereal, eggs whichever way you wanted them cooked, bacon and home grown spinach.

Clovelly House is beautiful, especially the gardens and the breakfast area. We stayed in a basic room which was adequate and clean. The location was also great, and we could easily get to the city within minutes to go to salamanca market, watch a movie or buy groceries.

We would definitely recommend this place to everyone who travels to Hobart!

Superb location with views over the river to CBD, yet only 10 mins drive from downtown Hobart. Efficient service with great breakfasts and fantastic coffee, pleasant room and great gardens. Free wireless. Lots of extra touches to make it special. Can't be beaten!

Hosts were efficient. Room was large but had no seating. Lovely gardens, good parking. Guest lounge fireplace but no fire - not particularly cold but would have been great for ambience.
Cooked breakfast poor and continental breakfast basic.
Would try elsewhere next time.
