Just got back from a seminar and stayed here. What an outstanding hotel, so different from a lot of modern hotels. Beautiful and elegant. The staff were efficient, both from a guest's point of view, but also in the seminar organizing, catering etc. My room was large and comfortable with a huge desk for working on, plus a great bathroom/shower. I got a lot of work done on that big desk, although I really have to complain about the horribly slow internet (like a dial-up from 1995 - for 10$ a day I would expect a lot faster).
I only went to the restaurant once, quite early by Mexican standards (maybe 8:30?) so it was quite empty. Service was great and I had a very good and reasonably priced meal (slightly expensive by local standards, but certainly not by international standards, maybe 45$ with a quite good 1/2 bottle of Chilean wine. Other good restaurants within walking distance, although not much else.
As I said, the business seminar staff were great.
They have a nice looking pool area (didn't go however) and I guess also a gym (eeek!).
I paid less than the internet average rate, but even at the average rate I see on the net I would consider this to be a very good deal. I am going back again in a few weeks, and happy to be doing so.
