Always start my reviews with what is most important to me: cleanliness & this hotel was spotless. Typical dated decor, but a great downtown location & within walking distance of all shopping & many restaurants. Only 3 blocks from the river, which has restaurants & outdoor seating. Villahermosa is nothing special overall, but a good choice for a quick overnight. Hotel is only $3 taxi ride from the ADO Bus Station.

Stayed here again but this time asked for a higher floor room. It helped a little but it's still really noisy from outside. Still recommend for location and price but if you can do better than do so. We moved to the Quinta Real after 2 nights here and that is like comparing night and day see my review for more.

stayed there in aug '04. hotel is located in zona luz and is off a pedestrian only boulevard but has free parking a block away. i dont recommend driving unless you have exp in driving in mexico and have good memory cuz those old winding streets are confusing in that area close to the river. staff friendly and professional with a decent resturaunt on premises, rooms are smallish but clean w/ good a/c. good choice if you want to stay in zona luz and walk about....easy to catch a taxi as they are always waiting by this hotel.
