First of there are many activities to do at centre parcs, it has a beautiful villa and friendly staff, the only fault is the disco where they play nothing but 80's music, we were really looking forward to that but it was a real disappointment. The food is brilliant and parc market has a range of products. But inside the villa there were a few spots where wallpaper had fallen of. Also the location of the parc is located near an air base, meaning that every hour we would here a great big plane noise sweeping over the parc. However all in all a very good site.

First time to centre parcs. As a mother of three boys aged 7 to 13 I was in heaven. So much for them to do. Love the concept, loved the functional design and the wildlife. So good in so many ways. Wish my crappy crumbly Victorian terrace was half as good. Only grumble was that, whilst the beds were fantastically comfortable, the duvets were weirdly lumpy and a little chilly...but it was -14c outside....

as always, Center Parcs Elveden is great for children; the villa needed a clean; the staff are great when all is well, but are always reluctant to put any fault right. This includes having items stolen by cleaners and being told this was our problem on more than one occasion as we have stayed here several times.
Very expensive, very easy to book and spend money, very safe environment for children. Forest is lovely; range of restaurants is good. The outdoor activities are never quite as good as they look on paper. No emergency pharmacy if required.

Returning to Center Parcs after 21 years without children, we wondered if it would be as good. We booked an executive room at the Lakeside Hotel with Gormet breakfast in the hotel's revolving restaurant.
The room was great with fantastic views over the frozen, and later, snow covered lake. The bed was very large and comfortable and the heated floor in the bathroom was wonderful. The only criticism we would have is that the lighting is very poor, especially if you want to read a book or newspaper.
The choice of breakfasts was fantastic and great value for money. All served on very stylish Villeroy and Boch crockery with the ever changing snow covered view outside. A great way to start each day. The Country Club Twilight Spar was a fabulous three hours of relaxation and pampering.
For a couple on their own, you have to plan your meals in the restaurants carefully to avoid those favoured by families with young children. Eating late, after most children shoild be tucked up in bed also helps.
We enjoyed oursleves so much, we have already booked the same week for next year
