“Perfect!”

We visit Bempton Cliffs every year and have found it difficult to find quality accomodation. How did we miss Wold Cottage for so long? We stayed in the Granary which was quiet, clean, spacious and had the most comfortable bed imaginable. The grounds of the house are beautiful and the main house impressive. However, the most important aspect of our stay was the very warm and genuine welcome from Katrina and Derek and the excellent breakfast. We recommend Wold Cottage for different types of visitor - it ticks many boxes!

“Faultless and a privilege to stay here.”

I found this utopian residence after having having a disastrous experience in Bridlington.

I could use endless and overused
adjectives to describe the service, rooms and setting, but any such use would be superfluous.

Quite simply it is stunning in every regard and it is a privilege to have stayed here. Having stayed at many five star hotels throughout the world, what makes the wold cottage truly unique is the setting, the rooms that are so comfortable you become so de stressed and a couple
who know their business inside out.

The price is another huge plus factor. I would have been willing to pay at least thirty pounds a night more for such an experience.

this was our second trip to wold cottage, meant to review the first time but never got round to it, but a second trip re-iterated just how good this accommodation is.
Stayed in the family room the first time round with our 5 week old baby frankie, booked again this june and the family room was booked, Katrina offered us to stay in the granary cottage instead, wow we were so pleased with the family room last time, but the cottage is exquisite, comfortably furnished, spotlessly clean and a realhome from home, the little touches are perfect from the quality of bedding and towels to the touch free bin in the kitchen.
we have never been that good at keeping in touch with relatives in this part of the country, but now we have found wold cottage the family will be sickof the sight of us.

Katrina and Mike this place is the best

well done

And Thank you

Mark . Louise and baby Frankie

“One of the best.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 June 2011

We have enjoyed staying in this lovely house, not so much a cottage, more a small manor house in beautifull surroundings. Katrina and Derek are the perfect hosts, the food was excellent and the rooms spacious and beautiful. We did also look at the holiday flats - quite superb.

“Wonderful Anniversary Weekend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 March 2011

We've just returned from a lovely couple of nights at five star guest house Wold Cottage.

We stayed in the Major Topham four poster room. Very clean and comfy. The view from the room was marvellous and we spent time watching the lambs in the adjacent field. And the bunnies in the garden. The breakfasts were excellent.

We tried the Falling Stones pub in nearby Thwing. The food was great, as was the host with the most (we named him) - very warm welcome.

Would definitely recommend and return.
