The Novatel Ellerslie is literally on the doorstep of the Ellerslie racecourse and set in an attractive new business park. The main Motorway is 50m from the hotel making it so easy to travel into the city or out of town. The hotel is what you expect of the Novatel brand, modern, clean, good amenities and the rooms are well sized and frequently serviced. The Acacia resturant provided good quality meals without being sensational. Staff are more than helpful and extremely courteous. Being ajoined to the Ibis does mean that Ibis customers do tend to use the Novatel facilities - maybe a swipe in house business centre would be a good idea for those travelling on business as we were. Would definitely stay there on our next visit to Auckland. Tip: check you account on checkout to ensure that any disount have actually been correcty deducted.
