“Haven from big resorts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 March 2011

Meticulously clean with all the conveniences I require, like a kitchenette, wifi and AC. Beach is right across the street down a short path. Vincent provides beach towels, beach chairs, an umbrella - you name it. Lovely quiet little place. I fully concur with the other reviews. This is not a snobby boutique B&B, but rather an affordable functional studio in a quiet area. Just wish I could speak French, or Spanish for that matter, but of course Vincent speaks English too.

“Look no further...this place has it all!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 June 2009

If you are looking for a quiet, secluded, non-touristy place to experience the Mayan Riviera, this is it! This establishment is well-maintained, clean, with all the basic necessities. Vincent, the owner and tour guide, is extremely knowledgeable about the area from Cancun to Costa Maya. The room has a fully equipped kitchen, living space and air conditioning. The beach is nearby and towels and beach umbrella and chairs are provided. There is a basketball net and sitting area. Nearby is a home "museum" surrounded by sculptures and everywhere are little secret rooms! Vincent can provide mostly anything at request and it is a plus when staying in the area for the first time and not knowing what to do or see. He will take good care of you! Stay for a week or a month in this comfortable, friendly and local environment. The lodging has the flair of a boutique hotel, and is a cross between the european and mexican cultures, hence Casa La Petite France. French, Spanish and English are spoken here! It is home away from home!

“Great location to enjoy relaxing .”

We spent the month of Geb 2009 at La Petite France and highly recomend to anyone
looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation .
The 4 studios are completely equipped , functional and very clean .Vincent , the owner ,
makes certain the guests are confortable and is extremely knowledgeable about the tourist attractions . The beach is 50 mt away . Puerto Morelos is a 30 minutes walk or 15
min. bike ride ( bikes supplied ) or 5$ ride by cab .
Considering the high rents charged on the Mayan Riviera , La Petite France is most probably one of the few great deals left .
