The Casa Los Angelos people contacted by e-mail were prompt and friendly to our inquiry, but did not require a deposit when our reservation was made one month prior to our arrival date. Our cab driver drove us there on a very remote and damaged road. It was past new construction south of El Cid. Laborers were off work on noon Saturday, and were on foot wandering around. Our cab driver said that he felt it was a very UNSAFE area. When we arrived, we found the property which matched the web-site pictures of Casa Los Angelos. It was abandoned and neglected. A resident from further south of Casa Los Angleos walked over and said that he had not seen anyone there for some time. I'm sorry that this is advertised on Trip Advisor, Expedia, etc. Obviously, no one has checked out this property lately.
