I cannot detail the hotel - it looks fine , neat and clean
I ate at the restaurant twice and i would highly recommend it
The waiter only spoke Spanish - a young lad
I left him a nice tip that he deserved
Overall the food as i recall was quite good - although I admit that I did not have a bad meal in Puerto Morelos at all
My traveling companion - whose first language was Spanish - seemed always to not be happy with meals
The food was not exactly as she knew the dishes
Yet I never had one bad meal - and as well from my memory would well recommend the restaurant
There are Cabana's out front , that is you have a meal you can use on the beach - paradise
There is wifi at the hotel - ask for the code
The hotel / restaurant is not in the square area itself , but about a block away South , just off the main road that runs along the sea - its a short walk and well worth the effort to get there
It would be nice to combine lunch and the beach hut

It's Mexico. Your room might not be ready when you arrive, but relax, they're working on it & you can wait at the bar or by the pool or on the beach. The room next to the scuba office is very noisy in the mornings. The 3rd floor rooms have a great view of the beach & ocean - you can watch the sunrise from bed. They do have issues with the water - sometimes the shower turns off for a minute or so - but again, it's Mexico, be happy for the shower & hot water! Food was tasty & service was reasonable (no, not as fast as Applebee's but they don't rush you out either). This stay was our first time in Puerto Morelos & I look forward to returning! It's only 20 minutes south of the Cancun airport & a world away.

We checked in the beginning of January 2012, as soon as we arrived they told us that the apartment was not ready. We had top wait until 14:00 to get the keys. The Apartments was not in the main building, we had to walk about 5 min away. It was a building site with an empty hole that should have been a swimming pool with ruble inside and outside the graunds. Not good for my 19 moths old girl.The sheets were dirty full of hair, ants everywhere, shower not working, and dity pots and pans. The sheets were old and thin. The garden was very dangerous especially for children, because of old broken tiles all over the grounds. No soap was given, and the wall was full of mold. General impression was terrible, they told us that the restaurant was open for breakfast at 8:00 but it actually opens at 10:00

My family and i stayed at this hotel in December of 2011. We love the town, the people, and the location. We will make it a yearly stop as we travel from Belize. We are thinking of staying a week over spring break. The place is nice.
