We had some room requests and special dates being obsererved, My wife and I were blown away with the services and room. The beach is great and they do clean it daily. The food was great and there was no waiting in line ever, The checking in process was long and had to wait but thats life. All the hotel staff members were so outgoing and friendly. The show were good and the drinks also. The choices of food and drinks will blow your mind. The pool was clean and alittle cold in the am. Had a problem with the toilet and it was fixed in less then 10 min. The room service will blow you away! Will be back next year!

my husband and I were just here this past week. We stayed for 5 days...I wish it were for longer. The staff was amazing, so friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Our room was beautiful. We upgraded to the preferred club ( we wanted the internet, so we could skype with our baby back home!!). The other perk to the upgrade was the service to have cabanas reserved at the private pool, beach, or the main people (your preference) It wasn't overly crowded at all, but nice to have a sweet spot reserved for you before everyone started reserving their spots.

The pool is beautiful, and the day staff is so entertaining. I did Zumba at the pool every day while my husband played beach volleyball. They are really good at having things planned all day long for activities (they even have a backup schedule for rainy days). the private pool is much more quite, but still very nice. The beach is beautiful, we enjoyed our cabana and went sailing everyday on their complimentary catamarans.

The restaurants are all great. We really enjoyed the Grill, and buffet. All other special themed restaurants were very tasty too.

I really don't have anything to complain about, everyone here is soooo friendly and helpful.

You are in for a GREAT vacation :)

We had such a great time there (arriving on Thanksgiving day) and the staff are what made it fantastic. After an initial meeting, they would always acknowledge having met you before. Most servers would ask and remember our names and both the pool and beach (preferred) concierge's got to know us immediately, making us feel like old friends.

CANNOT EVEN GRASP HOW THE NEGATIVE REVIEWERS VISITED THE SAME RESORT!

The resort is a former timeshare, so the property is a bit older than most further south in Playa del Carmen area BUTextrememly clean and nice quality furniture in rooms- VERY comfortable mattresses. The chairs in the lobby and travel agent desks are in need of replacement.

The service was excellent throughout the entire stay. And it wasn't just surface friendliness or disingenuious. If there was a question or issue, they would not only try to provide a solution but if they couldn't would pursue it to the end. Let me get someone to help you/ let me find out for you. Please hold on, I can help, etc.

LOVED that you could get brand-name alcohols- bacardi, absolut, capt. morgan, etc.

The food was wonderful. The buffet had a smaller selection than some in Mexico I've seen but the options offered were much better quality than the big one at say Barcelo Maya.Also Now Saphire's buffet options changed constantly and I never saw the same dish twice!

Juan on the beach was our favorite server- kept the drinks, jokes, and compliments coming ;) Ivan, beach concierge bent over back wards for EVERYONE despite a very large corporate group arriving and nearly taking over the place. He was a delight!

Had a blast, enjoyed the size of the resort (not too big, not too small) and would definitely visit this resort or chain again.

We cannot say enough about how great this resort was.

The food was terrific, so much selection and the a la cartes were amazing. Highly recommend Paramour and Lemon Grass. Don't believe the bad reviews. Honestly great food and my glass was never half empty. The lobby was a great place to hangout and grab a drink before dinner, (not that we needed another) haha. We stayed in building 3 and never had any issues with bugs and the preferred pool was right behind our building. The room was very clean and was stocked with more beer, pop and juice each day. If you happened to catch the beer guy outside you could always grab a few more for the room. The pools were nice but we spent most of our time at the preferred pool ( I might add it was a little cool). The service was so great we almost felt compelled to tip everyone but not once were we asked or felt as though we should tip. We recommend going preferred so you can access the adults only pool and reserve beds at the preferred (adults only) pool or on the beach, so no 7am wake up to get your towel onto a chair. No towel cards either and at the preferred pool Israel or Ivan will have you taken care of all day long. Antonio is the man.

All the staff was great and very prompt, no pressure to buy any time-shares and it was so close to the airport and Playa Del Carmen. We will definitely be going back soon and are recommending this resort to all of our friends! We went with another couple and have been to other resorts and we were all very impressed.
