Do not go near this hotel, or restaurant if you care about your health, or safety. i would actually help people to pay for a better hotel, or restaurant, rather than let any human being stay, or eat here.
i had to pay in advance for a 3 night stay, but after spending one night sitting in the middle of the bed while all the cockroaches and mice skittered around the room, well, needless to say i left the next morning. this is the worst hotel i have ever had to endure staying in, in my 10 years of visiting mexico. th only reason i went back to eat there was because i was promised my money back and a free meal, by the man i thought owned the place. I never did get my money back, turns out some wicked woman owns the joint, and she is the nastiest piece of work you ever want to come across on this planet.
I CAN'T SAY IT STRONGLY ENOUGH,,,STAY AWAY!!! AT ALL COSTS.!!

We just returned from what has turned out to be an annual visit(s). We made arrangements to use Posada Amor as our base for 2 terrific sidetrips through the region. The owners and staff where able to assist us with arrival and departure issues that where out of the ordinary, but really made our stay in Puerto Morelos more enjoyable. As I refuse to object myself to the All Inclusive style of travel, this Hotel suits our needs quite well. The rooms are always clean, the grounds are clean and well kept by the hardworking staff. The food in the restaurant and bar area is fresh and there is always lots of it,,the drinks are plentiful and quite good,,actually excelent when Patricia is on duty. The only problem I seem to have developed is that I hate to leave, but Dinorah and Patricia assure me I can come back any time......J. Cassin.

Affordable hostel in the center of Puerto Morelas (that is, the central plaza is at your doorstep). We had a two person private room on the ground floor. During our 1 night stay we felt safe, the room was clean, but overall the place is pretty worn down.

- Seems worn down
- Hostel "safe" is a wooden cabinet in which a plastic bag kept my passport "safe". Nothing happened but kept me worrying.
- At times, only (and I mean ONLY) Spanish speaking staff
- WLAN is of poor quality

Just returned from another great stay at Posada Amor.The rooms are simple and very quiet,,the showers are hot,and the cleaning staff takes great care to keep everything in good order. The owner and her family take great pride in their hotel and it reallly shows in the service. The food is good and lots of it,,in particular the Sunday Buffet which is not to be missed......Watch out for Patricia`s drinks as the have a habit of sneaking up on you. This is definately not one of those nausiating large all inclusives,,,and that is a good thing..!!!!!!!!!!!!!
