I do have a positive judge for this Hotel and probably I will come back here one day just for the great view you can have on the ocean from your room. All the rest was just minimal as receptioners, cleaning service and the room. It was very cheap because of an offer of the day, so we dind't care about any missings. Anyway good choice for few days in Puerto Morelos.

Good value for here, but not for interior Yucatan. Plain rooms. Cobwebs not hovered up (good as stopped mossies coming through gaps around door). Room 106 right next to dive shop. Friendly but not private. Good access to nice pool and beach.

The table was never cleaned after we seated down, the waiter brought us lukewarm coffe and dropped tje menu on the table without a word. he came back and we ordered chilaquiles with chicken in green sauce and speificlly asked the guy to bring refried beans with them, he told us yeah no problem and left, there was only another table with a couple in the restaurante, finally after 20 min, the waiter showed up with our food and theirs, left the plates on our table and moved on to the couple,we call him back ´cause there was no beans on our plates and said he was sorry but there were no beans, at this time we were so hungry that we decided ot eat anyway, the plates were lukewarm, the sauce was so so, we ased for a refill and got another hal a cup or coffe. when we ordered the bill we noticed that 2 orders of beans had been scratched and they charged us 4 cups of coffe at 20 pesos each, we´ll never go back to the restaurante. the only nice thing about it is the view.

We stayed at Carmen Hacienda for 7 nights the first week in May, 2010. The rooms are nice size and very clean. The bathroom always had hot water and lots of pressure. We stayed on the first floor right by the pool. There is a table and chairs right outside the door and a hammock. During the week there were a lot of people who came and went. Most people were only there for one night. We met a lot of nice people sitting around the pool.

The room had recently been updated. There was a large closet and two shelves inside the closet. Our room also had a table and chair. Some rooms do have a refrigerator but I don't think there were many that do.

The A/C was not real powerful. It was fine though coming in after a hot day. We were plently cool during the night.

We did two dives with Aquanaut Dive which is located at the hotel. I definetely would recommend them for diving or a snorkel trip.

We only ate breakfast at the hotel and ate dinner at the multiple of choices in town. The breakfasts were very nice and rest of the menu looked good.

Do not expect a fancy resort. This is a small establishment where you can be comfortable to relax and enjoy the sun.

We will come back again whenever we visit Puerto Morelos
