My wife and I wanted to take a short trip to a warm climate and go to an all inclusive resort. After searching many locations and hotels we opted to try the Secrets Silversands. We were happy we did. We upgraded to a junior suite pool view in the preferred section of the resort. Next time we would rather have the next level up the Ocean view. The check in process was a little cumbersome but the staff were polite. Our room was what it looked like on line. The seating area in the suite was a little worn and dated. The patio did not have any back rests on the seats which is uncomfortable when wanting to sit outside for a period of time. The bed and bath area were just fine. The resort has eight restaurants that can accommodate any taste. The food was good. There are bars all over the resort and bar tenders that can and do make any kind of cocktail with top notch liquor. The various pools are all great but you better get up early to scope out your lounge and put your claim on it for they go very fast.
