Stayed at this hotel twice now, because of it's good location (15 or so minutes from the capital, Andorra La Vella).
It's right by the mountain bike hire shops for the summer and ski shops for the winter. The cable car is also 2 mins walk away.
The hotel was really cheap to stay in and the staff were great.
The bar is ok, sky tv, table football, darts, pool.
Looks like it will get real busy when the snow comes in a few weeks.
The restaurant downstairs...you have to pay for your evening meal but i think 18 € isn't too bad considering the range of food and the fact that you help yourself and eat as much as you like!
Breakfast was in the price.
The rooms are very nice and climate controlled, bathrooms nice and bright also.
There's a fitness centre up on the roof...a few exercise machines, sunbed, massage room, swimming pool, 2 saunas..and a jacuzzi...(now that smelled a bit off to be honest when the bubbles were switched on!!!)
Overall, great value and i'll definately go back there next time i stay in Andorra.

The food was good! calm and clean.

Getting out of the sauna and going outside snowing above us was magnific.

I rarely write a review but decided to do so in order for readers and potential visitors to be aware of the problems (and rather unpleasant experiences) we faced at the Hotel Magic Ski in La Massana / Andorra. Let me first point to the more positive aspects: a) the hotel has (free) ski lockers in the garage, very close to the gondola entrance and b) the food is generally good. Now the very unpleasant aspects: a) be aware of the extremely high charge for car parking in the garage - €18/day; b) the hotel is so badly built that all the noise and voices from the bar and hotel lobby could be heard all through the hotel and rooms. After going to bed at 11pm (after a long skiing day), me and my family hardly could fall asleep due to the loud noise which only stopped at midnight; c) beware of booking a quadruple room! This means that four person will be stuck into one double room, which leaves you with no space for anything else (de facto we were not even able to reach the window). According to the hotel (and unlike other hotels and places in Andorra), a bigger room with decent space for four person is considered to be a quadruple suite (with a much higher room price).
All in all, the hotel is not worth the money. When compared to other skiing resorts in Andorra, Pal is not even an interesting skiing place, and the hotel’s (only) advantage of being located next to the gondola does not compensate for all the negative aspects.

Hotel is very nice but suffers a little in finish. The walls are a bit on the thin side, the beds are very firm (ok if you like this), there is noise from the road and people leaving the Irish Bar in the early hours, and reception could try harder e.g. did not provide picnic breakfast as requested on day of departure (6:30am) or fix a broken blind.

Aside from that everything is ok
