went to andorra to catch the last of skiing this year. my friend reccomended me the ski plaza and we were very pleased with it.

the rooms were modern, although the décor can best be described as "alpine"

food on the buffet was very good... wide selection at breakfast, and also the evening meal... fresh meat prepared infront of your eyes.

only down point would be the amount of children at that point in the year... great if you're a parent, i suppose.

Just returned from a week in Canillo at the Ski Plaza hotel. The Hotel is ideally situated next to a small supermarket, pharmacy and the ski shop to hire boots and skis is next to the Pharmacy. It was a very short walk to the gondola and very convenient. The rooms were great, one double and one family suite in which there were two single beds and 2 bunk beds and a pull out bed. The kids were very pleased with their rooms and they also had a playstation which really impressed them. We all had free and unlimited access to the Palau de Gel which was literally across the road and had a very large pool, ice skating only on certain nights and go karting which had to be booked in advance. This was a great advantage especially if the weather was not good. The food and service at the hotel were great... maybe just a little short on the lean meat but everything else superb. Highly recommended for convenience, service and a most relaxing/active holiday

This hotel has everything a parent might want. mini-club, jacuzzi swimming club and mini-club for kids. We had a reveillon there in a suite, and it was far cheaper than the hotels in soldeu, not to mention pas. The hotel is at walking distance
from the lift to ElForn, and there is a ski rental right in the telecabine building,
so you don't have to carry the skis with you.
The food is excellent, and the a la carte menu for lunches is ridiculously cheap.
We are coming back again this reveillon, and still haven't found a best
value for our money.

this hotel was excellent, friendly staff, great food and great rooms. It is ideally situated for a great ski holiday, being close to the telecabin and If you have young ones that wanted to learn skiing canillo is great as there are three learner slopes as you leave the telecabin. the brouchure stated gym etc but the gym was sad, just three machines! although there is a sauna, small jacuzzi and little pool to. kids were happy with that but i would have like more... they have a massage service which was excellent the best we have ever had - we had a wonderful family holiday there... ( even lending my husband crutches to leave after our eventful trip skiing! ) thats why i stick to apres ski!...
