The Staybridge Suites on Yas Island has been a fantastic place for my medium term stay. It becomes like a second home and I don't feel like just another anonymous visitor.

The reception staff know me by name and are more than happy to help. The lounge area is welcoming and relaxed. The standard of food provided is great and breakfast selection is wide. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the small kitchen means I can cook for myself and save eating out too often! The location is great and my room overlooks the F1 circuit - what more can you ask for!

I would definitely recommend this apart-hotel for business travellers who are planning a stay from short to long term, it's a lovely place to be when you're far from home.

I had a terrible experience at this property and would like to share it with anyone considering to say here. A guest at this hold acted very aggressively towards my guests and myself while we were host a private part in their patio area (pre approved from management).

Security was a joke here, and management never took our complaint serious. They actually sided with the rude guest rather than the party of 12 people.

For a safe experience, avoid this hotel at ALL COSTS.

Needed a place for three nights for the grand prix and fortunately managed to make a reservation in Staybridge (by the airport & the race track) the rate was a pit high 1140 USD but it is worth it. Would have gladly paid more for what we received.
They gave us a one bedroom King Suite. It was perfect; modern, clean, spacious was furnished with a small kitchen area as you walked in, and a work desk near the living area on the other side of the suite. The intimate living room space had a comfy sofa & flat screen TV. The bed & bath were tucked away in its little nook.
I had trouble getting my iPod Touch to connect to their wireless internet in our suite
They serve a FULL buffet style breakfast - excellent! We made our own dishes :-)
I'm glad we picked this hotel; it’s located in a newer & slightly less congested area than other parts of Abu Dhabi so getting there & checking in was less stressful than picking a hotel in the heart of traffic. However, it only took me 5 mins to go to the section where I needed to be the next morning.
The staff who are, without exception, very friendly, cheerful and helpful, especially Mena on reception whom nothing is too much trouble.
We stayed the last formula in the Yas hotel it wasn’t much different but for the very high rate they offer in The Yas. Enjoyed it very much we will be back next year.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in November when we visited for the Grand Prix. Our suite was huge, comfortable and very well equipped.

Breakfast was included and was fine, though offered little variety from day to day. We had not realised in advance there was no lunch or evening meal service in Staybridge Suites, and we would have liked the hotel staff to a bit more forthcoming about other dining options in the nearby hotels. Everything was handled politely and efficiently when we asked, but little was volunteered. We felt that Staybridge Suites would have benefited from offering lunch and evening meals, even if just during big events like the Grand Prix. Minor point though; service overall was great, it was really up to us to have better understood the nature of Staybridge Suites in advance and all the other Yas Plaza hotels have restaurants and welcome non-residents.

Like all the Yas Plaza hotels, location is excellent for the Yas Marina Track. It took us only 10 mins to walk from the hotel to get to our seats in the West Grandstand.

Our suite did not have a balcony - I'd look to have one if I was going again. I didn't use the fitness room fro various reasons, but it was well equipped - better than I expected in a business hotel.

We'd happily return to Staybridge Suites on Yas Island.
