The place has 3 cottages within a coffee plantation with a beautiful balcony, spacious room, spacious & ventilated bathrooms and a balcony with a mesmerising view.
A must see for nature lovers, the host Chandan & Sapna are really wonderful people to spend time with - who take care of you to their best. The employees around are always ready to help you out with anything - be it their ginger tea, biscuits, their greetings, and the details they share with. Besides you have their pets, mainly Shintu(Ginger) who will be happy to be around and guide you around the nearby visits.
The drive from Bangalore to Kunigul via Nelamangala is very good. After that - as its being expanded until Sakleshpur - the roads are good with little pot holes. You can expect about 5% of bad roads of the whole trip. This place is about 15Km from Sakleshpur. The last 1.5km is an off-road drive which you have to consider when you plan for - so have your car in good condition and the last drive a little cautious.
The food you can expect good tasty homely one - which you will like. Would suggest once you are in there - can plan to spend time around the plantation visiting the vast grasslands, walk to the nearby stream and the waters, walk within the plantations, and ofcourse a stretched out relaxation in the balcony with hot cup of tea.
We did so and after winding up from the cottage, went to the Hemavathi Back waters( its just a scenic place to enjoy) and the fort (again a climb of about 200 steps) with a view. Its only the nature that you would be able to appreciate.
The stay in the plantation would definitely be refreshing.
Room Tip: All 3 are good with orange, green and blue in that order.
