“Excellent stay even in high season”

I spent two nights in this new hotel and was extremely pleased. The studio-like room had a nice balcony with design chairs/table and stunning views. It worked as a lounge by day, with a 2 seater sofa, and a bedroom at night with 2 unfolding single beds. It featured a small kitchenette with counter and stools and a big flat-screen TV. The bathroom was on the small side and could use better lighting. It had a good hairdryer, though. There was some free parking outside and a secured one underground for which you pay 5 Euro/24hrs. The reception area is quite big, with a minimalist, sleek feel. There is no restaurant, only a breakfast room. However, there are several restaurants within a few minutes' walking distance, in the marina and the other hotels. And there is a supermarket and ATM right across the street . Staff at the reception were nice and helpful. Ideally, you'd need a car to fully enjoy the whole peninsula area (e.g.restaurants and beaches).

“Calm and Beautiful”

Just to say, I loved the stay at this hotel. Amazing location, great landscape, good service and very nice rooms. I will definitely recomment the place and the hotel to all my friends.
I guess that the best month should be all apart from July and August which I guess will be me crowded.

“A relaxed hen weekend”

I went to Aqualuz Suite Hotel Apartamentos, in the Troialagoa for the weekend with the girls. It was amazing! everything is walking distance which gave us total liberty. It's a very family oriented resort, but also great for a romantic weekend for two or a calm weekend with friends. The hotel apartement is amazing and very modern witha fully equiped kitchen. The staff was very helpful and nice. For sure I'm coming back. Had great fun!

“Very nice beach”

Tróia is a peninsula, you have two ways: 1) by boat from Setubal (see the schedules at www.atlanticferries.pt) 2) by the freeway. Aqualuz is complex of 3 aparthotel - Mar, Rio and Lagoa. Mar and Rio is near the beach and Lagoa it's a litlle bit far away. This complex had one more hotel - Tróia Design. The complex was rebuilt and it starts to having is own life. At this time you will find a ATM, gift and news paper shop, supermarket, beach bar/restaurant, marina, ice cream shop and a restaurant at the marina. At the hotel, the rooms are vey modern and well equiped, indoor and outdoor swimingpool, SPA, café/bar at the lobby, restaurant and a club house. The breakfast it's good, but I heard that in the peak season it's very confused, because the space of the breakfast isn't enought for everyone. The beach it's one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal, if you want you can drive for 5 minutes and you will have your own private beach. If you want to go to the beach it's better you bring your own towels because the towels that they have is just to the swimingpool. If you want to do a cultural program, you can visit the roman ruins near, bird watching, golf, cycling, etc... At the neighborhoods
you have Setúbal known because the "choco frito" fried cuttlefish and Comporta known because their beaches, restaurants, beach clubs, etc...
