“The Benchmark of Home-Stay in India ......(Western Infra Coupled with Indian Hospitality)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 February 2012

We stumbled upon this place on the internet and without a moments hesitation decided that we had to had to go here ...... From the very moment you arrive at this place it seems to have some positive vibes around it .... and throughout your stay the believe just gets Stronger .....

For the Nerds who look at the Numbers and Stats here is something

1. The room Size of arco iris is bigger than your average room size of a 5 Star
2. For All other hotels - Make Way - The Bathrooms here are bigger than your rooms....
The quint essential idea of Space is Conveyed to the core....
3. Your Host are Hospitable to the core .... You can chat with them over a glass of wine ..... Now How often has the manager of a Taj or a Leela done that for you.....
4. You can enjoy the local food and also learn how to make it ......Will a Vivanta or a Holiday Inn allow you to Enter their kitchen ????
5. To keep you constant company you have Loads and Loads of very Selective Books and a Everexited Labrador .....Now tell me a Hayat or an Intercontinental which does that ????

Now for the Spiritual Ones !
If you wish to have a good trip to recharge your batteries and your inner self do Visit here is what you should see
1. FOR MOTIVATION - See the Pictures of the Arco Iris Before and After- Inspiration to the Core! TAlk to Trusha and See her Blog !
2. GOAL SEEKERS - Confused Minds like Us will certainly have a clarity of how and what to decide after a conversation with Benni and Ganesh.....
3. THE OH How do I RELAX - Just Look at Feni.....

Thanks a Lot Beni , Ganesh and everyone at Arco Iris for Making our Stay a Memorable One!
We will be seeing you soon !

Cheers !

Nikhil and Kshitija

Room Tip: The one Behind has a Seperate Entrance and a Veranda !

“Better than a hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

The Beni, Ganesh and their children, the family who run this home-stay, are very welcoming. The property is beautifully decorated and furnished and the room is extremely comfortable. There is incredible attention to detail throughout.

I had been on a whistle stop tour of the major Indian cities before arriving in Goa and to be honest, was feeling a little lonely from my long solitary travels. However when I arrived at the Arco, something about the property and the way the family made me feel part of them, while not at all being intrusive and giving me space to find myself, made me feel very relaxed to the extent that I really wanted to stay longer and forgo other parts of my trip.

They cooked local cuisine for me which was delicious and were full of suggestions of things I could do in the area if I so wished.

I highly recommend this for singles, couples or even families who are looking for luxury and relaxation away from the more commercialised parts of Goa.

“Hospitality at Its Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

Our stay at Arco Iris was very satisfying in every way. Our hosts, Beni and Ganesh were thoughtful, informative and generous. Their home is very attractive and we were made to feel at home here, either relaxing on the verandas or reading in the lounge or eating wonderful food in the dining room.
