Wanted 5 nights but only 3 available,midweek was booked up,obviously a popular place.
Accommodation was in the outside block of rooms.
The room was clean and adequate.
Fanham Hall is a beautiful building,the bar and restaurant areas are very modern,breakfasts and evening meals excellent.
All the staff are really friendly and helpful.
Gym facilities disappointing,two small rooms of machines,very few free weights etc
Ample parking on site.
Would use again when next in the area

We got married at Fanhams Hall on 10 December and couldn't be more pleased by Fanhams and all the staff there. Nothing was too much trouble for the events team, they took care of every last little detail. The standard rooms were of a decent quality, and the newly refurbished rooms were beautiful. The food at our wedding breakfast was wonderful, and the waiting staff were very attentivel We couldn't have asked for a better day or a better location.

We got married at Fanhams and could not be more happy with how the wedding went. The staff went out of their way to help us with all ours and our guests needs, they were friendly, polite and very hard working. They worked through the night to make sure we had everything in place for the big day. The food was excellent, the rooms that we used - the Long Gallery, the Library and the Great Hall were all beautiful and the Chestnut Suite for our wedding night was absolutely stunning and every last detail was thought of by the venue to make us feel very special. Highly, highly recommend it!

We stayed here for a wedding, as it seems many people do. The building and grounds were beautiful, unfortunatly it was a very cold day so we weren't able to appreciate them fully. All the staff we met were helpful and polite.

Dinner was amazing, probably the best wedding meal I've ever had. The lamb was cooked to perfection, vegetables very tasty and the chocolate fondant to die for! Prices at the bar were very high, even for a hotel, but I suppose that is to be expected at weddings.

Our room (Room 60) was meant to be a 'Superior Room' but it was tiny, as was the bathroom. It was nicely decorated, however there was a large mark (it looked almost like a bleach mark) on the carpet. It seems that there is no difference in size between the standard and superior rooms, just the superior rooms have a refurbished bathroom. This should have been made clear when booking. We paid £120 for the room, which I think was far too expensive for what you got, but as least we didn't have to worry about getting taxis at the end of the night.

My main complaint is that the room doors do not lock automatically when you close the door, as you would expect. Reception did not say anything when we checked in, and there were no signs on the door or the key fob. Our room was unlocked for the whole day, and although we had our money, cameras etc on us, car keys, jewellery, perfume and clothes were left in an unlocked room all day
