After reading some bad reports we was abit worried about what we was walking into,But fear not if you have booked to stay here then its great value for money yes the rooms are basic but clean and tidy and when we arrived we found out that tv have been put in the apartments only spanish channels but you do get sky news.Did not have any any problems with the spiral staircase and i carried the cases up and down.The cooker is very basic but easy to use but who goes on holiday to cook,The staff where all very friendley and helpfull.English bar across the road called the giddy goose great food,If you are planning on doing your own cooking bring as much food with you from home as possible ( bacon,sausages,tinned ham,tin corned beef,cheese,packet soups,oxos basic food) the supermarkets charge a fortune even if you buy the cheaper spanish brands and the beer has gone very expensive its alot cheaper up the road in los cristianos.

First time in Tenerife stayed at Barranco Bungalows the apartments clean basic good value for the money staff very friendly and helpful sorted tours out for us let us keep the room till later in day free of charge as we had a late flight. There is a resteraunt next door called tango food very very good staff very good prices cheap for the quality and quantity.Close to the local bars and shops. Could not have had a better holiday will stay here again .

I've just stayed at these apartments and must say that I was very satisfied overall. Having young children I asked for an apartment on one level only and this turned out to be a 5 room penthouse. The pool is quite large but I understand that other complexes may offer larger pools. Parking was never a problem and I always found a spot in front of the hotel. Staff very friendly, great location, 8 mins walk from the sea and 3 supermarkets on opposite side of road.
Having said this although these apartnments adopt a no noise policy, the neighbouring apartments do offer some noise at night-time and it's a pity that nothing is done by anyone to tone down this nuisance. In my case I always slept because I was always tired, come night-time. I understand that closing the window helps tp get some quiet and there are other rooms not facing these noisy apartments occupied by youths.
However keep in mind that the price I paid for a family was less than 40 euros so it was a great bargain after all and I would stay again here.

Myself and a friend stayed at the Barranco. We have come over the past 3 years to tenerife to celebrate the new year. Appartments seemed ok when we checked inn, it took us 40 min trying to find our room, directions not clear and like a maze! Pool is very small and boring, when sitting at pool other people not happy to see 2 young girls laughing and joking mabey this was because there was no-one under the agae of 50???

Resturant attached to appartments i would not reccomend service is very slow even when you are the only ones in ther! Nightlife in tenerife is alot of fun and can keep going till early hrs in the morning, when returning from a night out was always dreaded as you would have to wait for the main doors to be openend, we were then hushed to be quiet " NO NOISE" this became very annoying when you are making no noise!

On the 31st dec we were geting ready for a big night to bring in the new year.We wer back at our appartment by 1.30am quite drunk but obviously to be expected ,we wished the staff a " Happy New Year" we were again just told to be quiet!! We had a few more drinks in our room with some music! The next moring when passing reception we were advised the police had been informed about the noise level and we would be out if this happend again!!

My overall stay at the Barranco was poor. I would not stay here again or recmomemd it!
