“Beverly Hills Heights”

Visited BHH on a promotional trip on 24/1/12 as a result of being cajoled by a Rep last year.
We were allocated a 1 bedded room with views to Los Christianos harbour largely obscured by a vast array of new buildings since our last visit 20 years ago. The room was fine but needed updating, and clean as everywhere on site was found to be.
Our promotional talk only took place the day before leaving and was well presented by Craig and proved interesting to both of us although we made it clear that we had no intention of buying. Nevertheless the 5 hour session went quite quickly and we were not unduly pressured - Craig was always polite and understanding of our opinions - as was his boss Dave who joined in for the last 20 minutes or so.
Overall our week was enjoyable despite mixed weather (no rain ) but negatives were no lift, no bar, and no satellite tv.

“holiday of my life!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

firstly i just want to say what a magical place this is...
me (rhea) and my family of 5 adults and 3 kids and my beautifull fiance Lucia went for 2 weeks to beverlly hill heights for my mums 60th birthday.
the front desk when we arrived could not have helped us anymore than they did. we got to our rooms which had a view that blew your mind away from the balcony you saw los cristianos and the beach.each room has a balcony with tables and chairs to dine with wine in the evening sun!
plenty of activities for kids to do on site as well as the adults playing the water polo. which was a laugh!!
also keep your eye on victor the life guide. he loved all the kids and has fun with all the adults. dont let him walk behind you whilst standing near pool side as you might just fall in. which my fiance managed to get him in on our last day!!
plus having the pool side bar and cafe just topped it all off with that cold drink or a nice frappachino or even some of them cheeky cheesy chips at 1.30 pm.

all the resort staff and holiday makers where also very friendly, they where relaible with there optional wake up calls so you dont miss a minute of bliss.

also if you wanted to use any of the other resorts facilities you are more than welcome, plus a shop in resort next door as well as a spar and a little mini mart down the hill.

one thing we will say about is the restaurant oposite beverly hills height entrance is it was appauling, me and my partner who are in a gay relationship went in there to have a evening meal for 2, we where treated like absolute muck and they couldnt have ignored us more!!! plus the food was discusting and very expensive and under cooked!!!

anyway back to the good bits, there was a local coach which stopped right out side the entrace of our resort. this coach will take you directly to the beach or the sunday market. this coach journey is free of charge but however you do need to show your key card for appartment. and just a reminder do be clothed on this mini trip on coach as you wont be able to travell. this is understandable beacuse of your hyigine, also your sun scrren washes of on chairs and will rewen your evening wear. the bus driver is diffrent most time but verry friendly and reliable. there are two women that ride on this coach everyday to talk about surroundings and to repetivly remind you of the pickpockets (Bless them) they do genuinely care about you and your saftey as well as beeing interested in what your day has been like!! say hello to michelle from us she is lovely !!

There is not much of a nightlife around the resort it does quietin down after a while but however there is only a five minute trip to los cristianos town which is a lovely eveing out, sociable bars and late night cafes if you dont want a clubbing night but still want the drink :) or a further five more minuts you are at las americas wich is a fantastic night life and we had a great night on free drinks they are keen to get you in there clubs but my partner ended up with friction burns from the pol :) that made her night though god she looked sexy !!

when you go out in the day you will never miss a bargan with the bling bling men they are funny remember they tell you a price cut them down to what you want to pay they will say no but walkk away and they will come after you worked for my partner ten watches later i did warn her not to get to involved because they dont leave you alone!!

the restrants in town are amazing they are cheep and the food is more than enjoyable :)

the beach is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a calming tanning day :) however the sand is verry verry hot so wear sandles or flip flops whilst walking on it, i lernt that lesson !

for me what toped the holiday was when i proposed to my fiance on our balconey after a lovely meal out she said YES!!!!!
this was by far the best holiday we have all had.
Me and my partner which we could have stayed or at least visit every year!!
we will be back but in the mean time we hope to see more reviews possitive ones and hear of the lovely holiday you have enjoyed !!!

10/10 for everything !!

Room Tip: pool view or sea view ither one is amazing

“Good accommodation, poor amenities.”

We stayed at The Beverly Hills Heights for one week from 4th November until the 11th November 2011. My husband and I travelled with my parents who are members of RCI, we exchanged into this resort for our weeks holiday. We are always very pleased with any RCI resort we holiday in as the gold crown standard is normally high and consistant, this was not quite the case here. On arrival at resort we were warmly welcomed and shown to our apartment, we were allocated a duplex apartment (J615) that overlooked the pool area. We were very happy with the apartment, it was not completed to such high standards as other gold crown resorts we have stayed in but it was spacious and light and very clean. The two bedrooms were downstairs and we had 3 bathrooms which was great, we were a group of 4 adults and there was lots of room and the balcony was a good size. We would normally expect a dishwasher and washing machine in the apartment and normally towels are refreshed every other day and none of this was present. Towels were changed once during our week stay which I thought was poor for a resort of this category. The whole resort was very tidy and clean, the pool area was lovely and not very crowded which we liked. The downside with this resort is that there is nothing here apart from a bar 10.00AM-6.00PM. We did know before coming that it was quiet and that did not bother us, we are young and like to go visit other places but do like it quite around the pool and very few children, which this resort offered. It just got a bit frustrating that everything happened at The Beverly Hills Club next door, could not even get WI-FI connection at the heights had to go next door! Really they should of just made the two resorts one. The evening entertainment was pretty poor in the Beverly Hills Club & the nightclub, disco inferno was like going to Butlins, again, not what you would expect for gold crown status. We went to Hollywood Mirage everynight for a late night drink after our meal, this resort was much better. This is another gold crown resort, a sister resort to the other two, but it was a higher standard than the other two. The three resorts should be to the same standard and they are not. We looked around an apartment in Hollywood Mirage and the finish was much better than that in the heights. I think RCI need to look at the ratings again, as I feel heights and club should be downgraded. We had a really enjoyable week as we had a car and went off to Siam park, Lorro Park, Mount Tiede and Los Gigantes, there is lots to visit. The walk from the resort down to the beach is pleasant, your on holiday no need to rush, lots of bars and shops to look at or go in on your way down to the beach or back. The hill is quite steep walking back, but all of Tenerife is hilly so you just have to accept this and get on with it, it's not that bad, just take it steady and it's fine. Bianco restaurant just down the hill from the resort is one I would recommend, very nice Italian cuisine. Bella Roma across the road from the resort was also good for food, the Paella was good. Overall The Beverly Hills Heights is great as a base as the accommodation is good, but that's it. We visit Tenerife quite regularly but won't be exchanging here again.

Room Tip: J617 overlooked the pool area

We stayed here at the end of August 2011. Our two bed, two bath apartment was absolutely lovely with gorgeous views over Los Cristianos. Hill walk upto the apartment is a bit hard at times, especially when youve had a few drinks. The pool area was always well kept and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here.

Room Tip: Our apartment looked over the port of Los Cristianos and was a lovely view. Cannot comment on the o...

We went on a promotional trip and were very happy to spend a week in the resort. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The appartment was very clean and well equiped.
The pool was a good size and also very clean. The life-guard deserves a mention as he was so friendly. On the whole it was a very pleasant week. Only drawback is that the complex is on top of a very steep hill !! So you need to be fit to be able to go down to the resurants in the evening, as the free bus service stops at 7pm. We both had a very nice time there.

The recepectioni st was very welcoming on our arrival and the first impression was very good.
