Our 3rd visit to this accomodation and are sorry to say standards have declined, shabby worn furnishings, ripped and badly repaired bedding and mouldy stains in cupboards to name a few, now this is a pretty and peacful place and used to be a pleasure to holiday here.
The owners charge a small fortune and think it's time an investment was made to bring the accomodation up to scratch
I don't mind paying a little extra but think its now way overpriced.......Lots of simular in the area so will look elsewhere

This was our third holiday at Sandy Golf and we had another brilliant time! It never fails to disappoint!

As usual the accommodation was immaculate and the grounds are so well kept and a haven of peace and quiet. I love the position of the complex also, as its a good walk one way to the beach, or the other to town - free buses are there if you need them and cabs are plentiful and cheap.

We had a south facing bungalow this time, closes to the pool, which we really enjoyed as the sun was lower than in July. We also discovered 'Mercadona' - a supermarket in Playa del Ingles where the locals shop! Its a good walk, or 3/4 euros in a cab each way! Well worth the time and trouble to stock up a bit as its much cheaper!

As we've said in our other reviews, if you want a simple holiday in gorgeous surroundings then this is for you. If you want laid on entertainment, themed nights and a raving bar scene, then go somewhere else (please!)

We have another week booked in March and can't wait to return - our 4th time!! Unheard of for us!!!

Spent the first two weeks of November 2011 at the Sandy Golf in Maspalomas. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the complex of bungalows was well kept. Outside the bungalows the patio areas were comfortably big enough to accommodate sunloungers and a table and chairs - excellent when self-catering. It was a very pleasant 30 minute stroll down to the beach. All in all, a really relaxing break.

stayed in the complex of bungalows for 2 weeks in oktober.we were asking for quiet bungalow with wifi coverage (as the wifi is for free), but ofcourse we've got bungalow with no wifi coverage and the bungalow was just next to restaurant, so every morning it was the most noisy place in the hotel complex..hotel is about 40 minutes walking from the maspalomas beach (or 3 euro by taxi)..there is a free shuttle bus provided from hotel to maspalomas beach and playa del ingles, few times a day..hotel is in quiet area, no pubs around, the nearest centro comercial is about 10 minutes walking (C.C. Faro 2)..90% of the hotel gests are germans..TV cost ju 2,50 euro per day, but TV is just for Germans, as there was just 2 programs in english (CNN, Eurosport)..Staf is very friendly (except one arogant receptionist)..Food in restaurant is nothing special..Accomodation was nice, only surprise was that they don't have double beds, bud 2 single beds just put next to each other.the beds are on wheels (why???), so you can imagine that the bed will move on the tiles very easily.so every morning there was a big gap between the beds.may be good for a 60 years old people, but not for young..
