Perfect place to realax for a week or two! Just grab some books and enjoy the quiet area of Maspalomas!

Bungalows was prefect, nice and clean with plenty of free Tv-channels!!

Free Wifi in reception!

Its easy too walk around in the area. 20 min to the big Maspalomas beach and the same if U want a walt to Playa Ingles.

Poolarea was ok - no problem of having a sunbed!

Staff was very serviceminded!

“Great place - shame about the location”

This place was great value for money and was the most attractive accommodation that we saw when we were here (we saw lots on the transfer coach!). The grounds are lush with greenery and are maintained to an extremely high standard and you can always see a staff members cleaning and tidying.

The bungalows are bright, airy and very clean. All bungalows have a large private terrace area with two sun loungers a table and two chairs. The kitchen is basic and you have to be very creative to get a decent meal cooked, but to be honest unless you’re planning to cook a four course meal it does the job. Surprisingly there is also a flat screen TV with lots of English speaking channels which was a nice addition.

The pool area and loungers were all very clean and there is plenty of seating by the bar. One problem is that the pool is rather small and gets very full and loud making it rather an uncomfortable experience. The issue seems to be that the complex directly connects to another bungalow complex without any dividing wall or fence. The result of this is that those from the other bungalows come through and use the nicer pool and bar. We also got the impression that the locals were using the pool unchecked too however all this quietened down during our second week.

We only ate at the bar once which was an average experience however this was just a pool side lunch. We were put off dinner by the old fashioned dining area and when we did see the food whilst passing it looked pretty bad which was reflected in the faces of the diners.

Our main issue was how far away the complex was from everything. You’re about a half an hour walk from the beach down the dried up river way and although there is a free bus service, if you miss it is a long wait until the next one (there’s only two a day). We found that we ended up getting a taxi everywhere as it was so cheap and usually only worked out a euro or two more than the bus. This was especially true of the taxi to aqualand - 4 euros and much better than the overcrowded bus that was 1.50 each.

As I mentioned the place is rather secluded so if you don't like or can't walk this is not the place for you. Also watch out for the pricy retardants on the beachfront. They all look amazing, but the food is pretty average (the authentic pizza place however is amazing). If you’re looking for a fun night out then head to the yumbo centre. We had a blast here and popped back on and off for evening drinks/food. It’s a bit of a walk away so get a taxi if you don’t fancy the walk or are crap at map reading. Also this is the main gay centre so if you’re prudish then probably give it a miss - however saying this all of the bars and people are very respectable and families were welcomed.

The older staff members really let this place down, specifically the two older guys. Although they were never rude they were really unhelpful and ignored you if you were waiting. One day we asked for a map of the area so we could find our way around. We ended up leaving it as he was really awkward about giving it to us even though we had been given one with no hassle earlier on in the week. The younger staff were excellent and always recommended good restaurants or places to go for drinks.

Overall we had a very nice time here with little to complain about. I imagine this would be a good place for larger groups however as a couple we got a little bored even though we were not here all that long.

“Clean, nice, but no atmosphere! Not many British holiday makers”

We have just returned from a weeks stay. We booked through travel soon.com, self catering, and paid £550. On arrival reception was welcoming, and initial impressions good. We were told where our bungalow was and off we went. The bungalow was nice, not huge, but clean and nicely decorated. A nice LCD tv is the lounge area, plenty of storage in the bedroom and a double shower. The showers are amazing by the way, always hot water and plenty of pressure. Once we freshend up we went for a reccy. The pool area was nice, 3 pools and plenty of sun lounges, (which are tied down so you can't move them too much). The pool bar, looks like a temporary building!! Happy hour is 4pm to 5pm so you get 2-4-1. €2.85 for a 1/3 of a pint! We had a drink and listened to conversations, as we wanted to find out where the nearest supermarket was. It was a challenge trying to find someone English. The majority of clients were Scandinavian or German. Anyway we found a couple that had been there a while, and told us the supermarket was a 10 min walk. Not the nearest then. Not when you had to buy some water, cans, drinks etc.. Ie heavy items! The shopping precinct is ok, there is a very nice steak house there. There is a small shop in the hotel but it is expensive and choice is limited. Talking of food, the facility does have a buffet restaurant. €6 for breakfast and lunch, and €12 for dinner. Breakfast is ok, boiled eggs, or fried or scrambled, but not all at the same time. Bacon everyday, some sort of sausages bread, jam, cereal and a poor selection of fruit. One day I had tinned pineapple!! But for €6 it's ok I guess. We only ate once in the evening, and there was 2 types of meat and fish, potatoes and salad. Now the bed is a stiff cheap mattress you can feel the springs through! And not enough pillows. Pool sun loungers are ok, but buy a lilo. The beach is great and a must visit. A complementary bus runs frequently, but the walk is nice too. It's 2km and takes about 30 mins. Just follow the dry canal. Unfortunately, we both had a tummy bug after 4 days so the latter part of our holiday was marred by sickness. Overall, a nice quiet resort, and great value. Just needs comfier beds and a nearer supermarket. Oh and if you don't mind being in the minority bring British then cool.

Overall very good value for money, clean and tidy, food really good. Very friendly staff. Rooms are ideal for 2, might be cramped with a family of 4. Would defiantly go back.
