Where to start with this review !!! Should I start with the fabulous apartments, the wonderful team or the great people ???Holidays'd here in jan 12 and had a fantastic time. I travelled alone on this trip and from the moment I walked through the door Nicolette, Ian and Dave could not have made me feel more welcome. The apartments are spacious, clean, well designed and ideally situated taking in the sun all day on your terrace. The restaurant next door serves good food and it is only a 5 minute taxi journey to the yumbo. This complex is 5 stars to me, in no small way for the customer service you receive whilst there. I left feeling sad, that i was leaving behind friends and I can certainly not wait to get back there to see them all again soon. Thanks all for a truly wonderful holiday - Steve x

I stayed at Vista Bonita in January 2012 - and had a great time. As a gay man travelling with my partner we found the appartments super clean, and friendly. The facilities are first class - gorgeous pool and hot-tub, sun loungers and comfortable beds in the appartment. The atmosphere is mega-relaxing, so if you want to ware clothes you can or not, it's really upto you! The staff at Vista Bonita are excellent, Nicolette who owns the complex is the perfect hostess. She'll join you for a drink at the bar before you head out. She's also super-helpful if you have any problem on holiday.

The location is in Sonnenland, so it is a few miles from the Yumbo (where all the gay bars are) and a similar distance to the beach or Maspalomas - but cabs are really easy to get and cheap - Sonnenland is a much better place to be than in the centre of Playa - which is fairly vile!

Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be back.

Apartments were really clean and seemed like new. Only concern is that towels and bedding could do with changing more frequently. Staff were very friendly. Pool to cold to swim in but warm jacuzzi made up for this. Spa shop and restaurant right next door. Beach about 45 min walk. Yumbo centre only a few mins in taxi. Would recommend to couples, groups and singles.

I've stayed in or visited many of the gay complexes in Maspalomas/Playa del Ingles and Vista Bonita is the best. Nicolette has opened and reinvigorated the complex since May 2011 with her charm and energy (so ignore any earlier reviews).

All apartments look onto the pool/garden and the complex is visually appealing with pool and jacuzzi, clothing optional if you wish. Indeed the relaxed atmosphere makes it very sociable and friendly. Lots of gay guys travel here on their own - but you don't stay on your own for long.

All in all, if you're a gay man or woman and want a great holiday come to Vista Bonita.
