Had 11 nights in August here. Very good value. Clean appartment/bungalow. Double sofa bed in lounge which me and Mrs used and our young daughters took the bedroom. Shower bath fine always hot water. Plenty of towels changed after a week but hung up/folded along with beds every day. Kitchen OK for a self catering, large fridge, microwave, 2 rings and 4 pans. Asked for a kettle and toaster which was in room by the time we got back that day. No air con which was not ideal but we knew this and coped.

Nice little patio where we breakfasted each morning. TV with a movie channel, SKY News and ITV which we were not charged for. Only saw 2 cockroaches in our trip, but they were big buggers!

We were only Engligh there, full of Spanish but they were fine and friendly. Only had 2 days around the pool and plenty of beds at 08:30 but most reserved or in use by 9:30. Big main pool, cleaned daily and small pool really shallow for the little ones. Friendly staff in office, really helpful, told us how and where to find best beaches. Free WIFI on site and PC in reception to use at a small charge. Water machine in reception for fresh chilled water to fill your bottles, 20c per litre and snack vending machine.

We asked to keep our room on, on the last day beyond 11am as we were not flying until 7pm. No problem and no charge!! Taxi to airport was just short of 40 euros and 25 minutes on quiet dual carriageway.
5 minute walk up the hill to a decent stocked spar and a further 5 minutes to a bigger supermarket. Good fresh bread at both. Steepish hill but our girls managed in daily and they are 3 and 5. Went to Maspolamas on first day, anout 40mins walk along green track/pavement, big waves and current there so didnt go back, also nudist beach 5 mins from beach entrance at lighthouse if you want that or want to avoid. Men walking around with a rucksack on their backs, sandals on and nothing else is not everyones cup of tea!!

We got taxi back from there for 3.5euros.

Most other days we got on the bus to other beaches. Hotel very helpful in advising. Down the hill onto mainroad (2 mins from hotel) catch number 1 bus (every 20 minutes) we had 3 days on ANFI beach (golden sands and small waves), 210 mins on bus and even better on PLaya de Amadores (25 minutes on bus) Kids were free on buses and we paid about 1.80 each way per adult.

Had a couple of of trips to the Holiday world fair (about 15 mins walk) good fun and lots of rides for kids from 1-12 Good value, 20 euros for 60 tokens and most rides are about 3 or 4 tokens each. Good food there too and a bar.

Enjoyed the holiday temperatures perfect about 28 each day with nice breeze. Good holiday, great value s/c accomodation and nice island. Would probably go Amadores or that way next time as Maspolamas beach to rough for little ones.
