We exchanged timeshare points for Palm Oasis and it was a great deal. Cannot think of a negative thing to say. It is a bit far from the centre (Is this a bad thing?) and apart from the nice restaurant in the resort, there is only a good chinese within walking distance, but as we hired a car, this was not a problem. We have eaten in the restaurant 3 times, 2 buffets and one from the menu, all were very nice. The pool bar during the day does great food and drink as well. We are in apartment 116, 1 bedroom apartment and it is nicer than anything we have had through Diamond Resorts, quiet, very clean, well equipped, lovely terrace to sit on. Comfortable beds, cleaner comes in every day.
The large pool area (Palm Oasis!!) is fantastic. 4 pools, kiddie pools, hot tubs, all presented great, lovely trees and flowers, all spotlessly clean. Noticed that water samples were taken frequently during the day.
All the staff we have met have been great, very friendly and helpful. the supermarket is open every day, English papers are the same day after 0900hrs.
We have not left yet and are already planning to return later in the year! Great place to have a vacation

been here about 15 times it is a magic place great ground's an gardens lovely pools so clean an warm as they are heated all year round
we do have own room here for a week a year but we do like to go for 2 weeks so we do buy another week or 2 if we can it is quite at night so you get a good night sleep an the main town is only a short taxi ride away about 5 euros the staff are friendly an do speak most language's the rooms are cleaned everyday except sunday
the beach is the best beach you could ever see it go for miles as it is the sand from the sahara dessert
an there is a free bus to take you there

Not the best service experienced - on arrival, we requested that someone show us where the apartment was but after half an hour searching we were shown by the gardener/bin man where it was - he was very helpful and actually helped take our bags up.

Accommodation is adequate although rather dated - thankfully were given a place with terrace, but I'd think the lower apartments are not as pleasant.

Pool was way too cold and investing in heating would be a huge benefit.

Entertainment was non-existent. Most nights, we'd see about three or four people grabbing some mediocre drinks (the Sangria was from a carton and not freshly made).

My husband and I took a vacation in August, and stayed at this location. Although it is not directly on the beach, there is a shuttle that is inexpensive that runs to and from the Boardwalk multiple times a day. We ended up renting a car, which the hotel partners with a company to do. A greasy man who does not speak good English comes to the hotel lobby and does all the paperwork there which is nice, but I think if you look around you might be able to find a cheaper price.
We did a time share trade through interval international and originally they did not have a comparable trade, but we paid for an upgrade from a studio to a one bedroom, and it was worth it for the money.
The room we stayed in was beautiful, all marble floors and bathrooms, but the furniture is a little dated, and our king bed was two twin beds pushed together, and they separated a bit while sleeping. If we go back we will try for the room with the rooftop terrace, or perhaps a bungalo off the main building.
The staff is very knowledgable and accommodating. The desk crew had many recommendations of things to do and see that were very good. The wait staff in the restaurant were prompt and sweet, although they didn't care for the stray Siamese cat who begged for food (so sweet!)
The hotel buffet for breakfast and dinner was NOT good, or worth the money. Nothing looked appetizing nor tasted good besides the cafe au lait! That was amazing, as well as the outdoor seating which was right by the reflecting pool, and in view of the large pools.
The 2 pools are large and deep. There are jetted seats in parts, a hot tub, a slide for the kids, and smaller pools for the little ones as well. And much seating! If you prefer the pool to the beach, this place is great. We however spent most of our time on the beaches.
