Just arrived back from a relaxing weekend
The place is far enough from the noise but close enough if you want it.
Bungalow was basic but clean. We were there a week and it was cleaned 3 times.
No kettle but you can hire one from the reception, anything from the kettle to a Wheelchair.
No A/c but can hire a fan or the A/c
Entrance gate is kept locked and you need the key to get in and out.
You have two doors to the bungalow which you can lock .
A inner sliding door and an outer shutter door type
Resturant has a good choice but the buffet is limited
Breakfast buffet is also limited but plenty resturants at Faro 2
You can book trips from the reception
On site there is a supermarket
A washing machine is also on site but only 1.
There is a bar on site with a happy hour which makes you VERY HAPPY!!
A free bus is run to the beach
2 minute walk from a shopping center Faro 2, where there is pubs, resturants , supermarketsand kids amusments.
Futher on 3-4 minute walk , Holiday World, an amusment park with bowling etc.
25 - 30 min walk to Play las Inglis and the famous Yumbo center and the high street bars. The center is the gay area but pay a visit to the Cafe La Belle for a drag show a good laugh, free entance.
3 Euros in a taxi each way.
You can book trips from the reception, we went on the yellow submarine, takes around 1 hr to get there to Mogan , you have a couple of hours to walk around and 40 mins on the sub .
Better to take the moring trip as you return around half past two
Locals seem to turn up at the weekend and the pool can become noisy.
We will be going back. The whole complex is cleaned daily. Also The hot water is heated by electric, so no worry over gas

My boyfriend and I stayed here in early September '06 after booking a last minute deal. We had an absolutley fabulous week. Upon arrival the manager took us to our room spoke some english (I cant stand it when people expect everyone to speak fluent english when on holiday! - Your in their country at the end of the day!) and was very polite seeing as it was about 2 am!!

We had a bungalow overlooking the pool and all the bungalows ahd a beautiful pink blossoming tree over the front. It was a very pretty looking complex.

the bugalows were basic but very clean and spacious.

There is a pay to view T.V but we only really used it as background noise as i think the only english channel was sky news 24!

Bedrooms were hot at night but - little tip! - leave all doors open for about 30 mins before going to bed - really does help keep the tempreture down!

The pool area was spotless and so was the pool not to many scabs putting out towels at 5am AND plenty of sunloungers anyway! there is a little supermarket on site which is very handy!

Taxi to playa de ingles was really cheap.

to sum it up we paid about £200 to stay here for a week and it was worth every penny if not more. there were some lovely peacful nights spent just chilling out on the terrace in front of the pool and some great nights out and meals in the nightlife 5 mins drive away!!

We arrived to vista golf at 7.30pm on the 30th of December, went to the reception to be met , what can only be called the rudest and most ignorant Man. he asked for our vouchers which we presented and then shouted passports , we handed them over . and he gave us our keys whilst coughing in our faces. reminded me of a skit scene from little britan.
We decided hes rude ignore him . went to our bungalow and got ready for dinner , to find the door would not lock it was broken, i went back to the recption to find it shut at 9.30pm, there was a pleasent enough character , i presume a night manager who did his best to fix it then told us that he could not and it would have to be the morning, we naturally did not want to leave our belongings unsecured , so had to repack and leave them in a friends bungalow as the night manager said he had no authority to give us another room. We returned late and went to bed to be woken by two guys standing over our bed demanding money, to which were disturbed by the maid and ran out past her getting nothing luckily.I immediatly ran down to the reception to report this to tell the large than life manager what happened , and he turned ignored us and walked away, we were furious at this stage, he then re appreared and said it was our own fault we should have locked our door, we tried to explain but he kept shouting and yelling over us saying we must have broken the door, and to get out. I demanded the ploice at this stage as the man is clearly unhinged and was shouting and screaming about --- british ( we are irish).
HE then calmed down and immedlatly offered a new room and he would have our belongings moved. Every where was booked out we tried to find somewhere else and just gave up and took the room, we had paid for it up front and knew we would not get a refund , so why bother having this lunatic ruin our holiday.
We only saw him once over the 6 days we there, but his staff that we had spoken to and my very upset partner after the intial confrontation saying he was a very rude man and this was typical.The complex to give it, its dues is clean, some what basic but practical and close enough to all amenties/
In my 18 years travelleing extensivley and being a hotel manager professionaly I have never some across such rudeness in my life. shame on him. The man should hire a manager who has some form of people skills and he should stay well away from the public.Needless to say we will never set foot there again.

arrieved at 02.00 am good english speaking night porter showed us to our rooms. stoped for over 3 1/2 wks . rooms cleaned every other day ,very clean and very quiet even over the xmas week , good food at reasonable prices. plenty of cats to keep you company if you are a animal lover, no sign of any cockroahes or weekend invasions as other miserable people have said ! would i stay there again........YES........
