Just back from a week at Vista Golf. Campus was very quiet. In the middle of a refurbishment at the moment. All the bunglows are painted inside and out. Internal and garden furniture has been replaced and new fridges fitted to each bunglow. Just putting the final touches so still a little noise but not too much.
The bunglow was clean and bright. Basic but whats expected for a Spanish holiday. The bedroom was about 7ft X 11 ft with wardrobe, sitting room 12 X10 with small but adequate kitchen. Maybe they'll redo the bathrooms next time around!! Basic construction so noise does travel thru the bunglow block. Was cleaned three times thru the week and towels changed. Bed linen was not changed.
Security grill doors to the fron mean you can still have air circulating thru the night with the dood locked. They do advise not to keep open the rear door in the bedroom.
Only complaint was that sitting room light did not work and nothing was done after three seperate complaints to reception. Like other reviewers reception has a great way of ignoring guests. Would have been nice to beable to read after dark.
There was planty of sun beds and nobody putting out towels to book places. Suitable for one or two people but don't introduce a third even tho they do say its suitable. Enjoyed the quietness of the campus and yet the madness was only €3 taxi ride away. Will return for a quiet sun holiday again.

Having read the reviews I decided to book a last min deal through teletext for 7 nights for my wife & I (both on early 30's). Once we had checked in & entered the bungalow(no,215) , it was expected, basic but clean.
Mon-Thurs the pool is quiet, but at the weekend all hell breaks loose & it seems like all of Spain are around the pool (esp children running & shouting louder than my ipod!).
A birthday was being held on the Saturday evening & drums were banged at 3am!

Location wise it was fine for the supermarkets at Faro 2 & the bus stop is 2 mins away, Holiday Amusement Park 5 mins away, Sand Dunes/Lighthouse 15/20 min walk.

I would recommend asking for a late check-out if your flying out late, cost 15 euro & I we the room till 11pm.

Lots of cats/kittens around.
Can hear everything in the rooms next door, so just hope you don't get the drunken ones arriving back at 4am!

For the money I paid £145 each (as a package inc transfer) I expected worse, but was surprised.

Just arrived back from a relaxing weekend
The place is far enough from the noise but close enough if you want it.
Bungalow was basic but clean. We were there a week and it was cleaned 3 times.
No kettle but you can hire one from the reception, anything from the kettle to a Wheelchair.
No A/c but can hire a fan or the A/c
Entrance gate is kept locked and you need the key to get in and out.
You have two doors to the bungalow which you can lock .
A inner sliding door and an outer shutter door type
Resturant has a good choice but the buffet is limited
Breakfast buffet is also limited but plenty resturants at Faro 2
You can book trips from the reception
On site there is a supermarket
A washing machine is also on site but only 1.
There is a bar on site with a happy hour which makes you VERY HAPPY!!
A free bus is run to the beach
2 minute walk from a shopping center Faro 2, where there is pubs, resturants , supermarketsand kids amusments.
Futher on 3-4 minute walk , Holiday World, an amusment park with bowling etc.
25 - 30 min walk to Play las Inglis and the famous Yumbo center and the high street bars. The center is the gay area but pay a visit to the Cafe La Belle for a drag show a good laugh, free entance.
3 Euros in a taxi each way.
You can book trips from the reception, we went on the yellow submarine, takes around 1 hr to get there to Mogan , you have a couple of hours to walk around and 40 mins on the sub .
Better to take the moring trip as you return around half past two
Locals seem to turn up at the weekend and the pool can become noisy.
We will be going back. The whole complex is cleaned daily. Also The hot water is heated by electric, so no worry over gas

My boyfriend and I stayed here in early September '06 after booking a last minute deal. We had an absolutley fabulous week. Upon arrival the manager took us to our room spoke some english (I cant stand it when people expect everyone to speak fluent english when on holiday! - Your in their country at the end of the day!) and was very polite seeing as it was about 2 am!!

We had a bungalow overlooking the pool and all the bungalows ahd a beautiful pink blossoming tree over the front. It was a very pretty looking complex.

the bugalows were basic but very clean and spacious.

There is a pay to view T.V but we only really used it as background noise as i think the only english channel was sky news 24!

Bedrooms were hot at night but - little tip! - leave all doors open for about 30 mins before going to bed - really does help keep the tempreture down!

The pool area was spotless and so was the pool not to many scabs putting out towels at 5am AND plenty of sunloungers anyway! there is a little supermarket on site which is very handy!

Taxi to playa de ingles was really cheap.

to sum it up we paid about £200 to stay here for a week and it was worth every penny if not more. there were some lovely peacful nights spent just chilling out on the terrace in front of the pool and some great nights out and meals in the nightlife 5 mins drive away!!
