Stayed for a week with four of us (48,50,19,16) in a couple of bungalows. Don't mistake this for either Cay Beach hotel, Meloneras (as our taxi driver tried to once) or the Princess Hotel - a much plusher operation.
The place is pleasant, has a nice pool (still a bit cold, but it's April) and pretty surroundings. The bungalows are OK, sufficiently roomy without much comfort in some areas (duff shower in one, towels for midgets, inadequate cooking facilities if you want to self-cater). TV's lack remote control but that's not what we were there for. Customers seem to be families or older couples.
But the place and people are friendly, people smile and do their best to fulfill requirements. The cleaning is erratic, but didn't see anything even approaching an insect anywhere around or in the bugalows. The food is sufficiently good and cheap to make self-catering a bit pointless without ever being stunning. Don't come here for nightlife or foam parties but if your aim is to sit by a pool and do nothing but soak up sunshine, with a few trips (Aqualand highly recommended) then Princess Bungalows does just fine. It's a way from the centre of the action in Playa del Ingles but some of us see that as a positive.
