“Excellent for the price”

This is a lovely comfortable hotel probably the best value for money hotel you can find in this area. The buffet is lovely and the pool is very nice. I recommend the pool bars - the cocktails are excellent and worth the money (prices are not too bad). The downside is: firstly the beds are not the most comfortable. I would have expected better in a hotel of this standard. he coffee is horrible. The enterainment is...what you would expect at a Saga type holiday. The upside: the staff is very friendly. The rooms are keep very clean as is the whole place. The food is good.

“Not bad if you don't mind children all over the place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

Not a bad hotel, clean, pleasant and good facilities. worst part is that has lost it's slightly up-market touch (jeans, T-shirt and sandals to dinner is not my idea of 5T stars) and lots of children, most of them ill behaved.

“Good hotel but shouldn't be a Thomson 5 T”

We stayed at this hotel on the 23/1/2012 for 2 weeks, half board. We had a very enjoyable holiday, the hotel was very clean food was good but, a little repetitive in the second week. Champagne breakfast on a sunday mornings was a nice touch, evening entertainment was excellent and daytime activities good if you don't want to chill out by the pool, staff appeared friendly the only downside was that a kettle would have been a benefit in the room and coffee available after evening meals in the restaurant.

“Good points and not so good points”

We booked at the last minute for a little winter sun and liked the photos of the pool complex for this hotel but the reality was a little different, sunbeds everywhere, row after row with little room between them. We decided that even though the weather was lovely we would not bother trying to find empty sunbeds, maybe just as well as we did see someone putting their towels and books out at 9.30 in the evening! The hotel itself was kept very clean and tidy and the staff all seemed very friendly. The food wasn't too bad with the usual buffet choices but an a la carte restaurant would have provided a nice change. Our main bugbear was that the staff cleared away food from certain food stations more than an hour before the meal time had finished to start putting out things for the next meal. We know that the staff have lives too but it did seem to be getting earlier and earlier. We did not check out the entertainment but there did seem to be a different show every night and live music in the bars. Our room was on the third floor and was quite comfortable and quiet. All in all quite a comfortable hotel but very busy and big.

“Mostly Great ...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

We stayed here New Years Eve week and for the most part the hotel was beautiful and the food was outstanding. Lots of buffet choices - we didn't get bored with the food at all during the week and actually commented that it was like being on our last cruise. The staff in the main were very friendly and helpful and the surroundings were lovely. However ....

We had a ground floor room with a terrace and felt like we were being 'watched' as everybody went up and down about their business! We were close to the pools (but no in view) and were treated to the lovely spanish announcer encouraging us to have our 'fish pedicure' daily for about 10 minutes and there was often quite loud music that pervaded the room from this area also so no siestas! However, we could have put up with this gladly if we could escape the room to get a sunbed but as per most resorts these days - by 9am there was not a bed space to be found in the sun. Plenty of beds with plenty of towels/books/suncream on but no many bodies until later in the day. I lost count of the times my husband threatened to throw them all in the pool! (the towels not the people). Also there are no facilities to make a drink in the room and no room service available but we brought a travel kettle out there and hid it each day before the cleaner came!!

New Years Eve was great though - the meal was superb and to sit by a pool on a balmy evening watching the fireworks at 12 midnight was hard to beat :)

I would go back but perhaps when it is less busy so that I can get a bed :)

Room Tip: Ask for a first floor or above for a bit of privacy
