Great for groups of 4 as you can all get in one room (like we were). You have the upstairs and downstairs as well as a kitchen to take advantage of. Downfall was the beds, very uncomfortable and the pillows were so lumpy I had to wrap mine in a towel to get a good nights sleep! However, the staff members are great, especially the restaurant staff. Some struggle a little with english but I speak conversational Spanish. Hotel rules state towels are not to be used to save sun loungers but unfortunately this was ignored. Great sun trap though and all the loungers are in a great position. Pool was cleaned thoroughly every morning. Cleaners don't visit everyday which can be thought of as a bit unhygenic as you cannot flush your toilet tissue, it should be binned. A little out of the way which can be nice for a quiet holiday and a taxi to the main centre of playa del ingles is only 4 euros. Down the road is the Faro 2 shopping centre, be sure to visit Broncemar II restaurant if you go there, absolutely fantastic! I would recommend this hotel for a last minute, budget holiday as we paid only £10 a night each (£40 a night for all 4 of us).

Rated as two star but has all the facilities you will need. The two storey bungalow comes with a toaster, fridge / freezer, cooking utensils and a two ring electric cooker. On arrival they had left a bottle of wine which as a nice touch.

The apartment cleaners are hard working and will clean the aprtment 5 times during the eek if you let them!

No air conditioning but this was not a problem as the evenings in november were cool enough.

The location of the hotel is quite far from the main town so you will either need to walk (about 30 minutes), get a ataxi or rent a bike. We chose bikes at 7 euros per day which was an excellent way to quickly travel around.

A recommended hotel with all that we needed.

In a nutshell - these are no frills 2 storey bungalows. They are kept clean, they are very comfortable and functional. Upstairs is a comfortable bedroom with plenty of storage space, a bathroom with good hot shower, a decent balcony with tables and chairs. If you leave the staircase window and balcony door open it allows a nightime breeze to come through which is very welcome. Downstairs there is a kitchen with a good fridge/freezer, a two hob burner, toaster and coffee maker. All cutlery, plates, glasses etc included. The hob works well and we cooked several meals on it without any problems. The sofa is comfortable and if you remove the cushions it doubles up as a bed. There is a back door and you have your own courtyard to hang washing to dry and put all your sandy bits n bobs which is really useful.. Out of the front door you have a patio with tables and chairs as well. The pool is great, clean, good tempreture and well kept. The food on the complex is also good and well priced. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
You can hire a car from the front desk and its a very simple process and good value.
There is also a free bus service that takes you to the beach and collects you later on.
Would I stay there again ? Definatly... We had a relazing holiday and would recommend it to anyone. By the way we were stranded die to volcanic ash and we kept our bungalow on for 3 more days and they did not hike up the prices and on the last day we needed a late checkout and we did not get charged for it. I hope you enjoy this resort as much as we did.

This was my first trip to the Canaries so was not sure what to expect. Apartment was compact but had all we needed. Small lounge are adjoining the kitchen area. Only problem with the apartment was the small hob. It struggled to cook bacon & eggs. We ate out the majority of the time, using the restaurant twice on the evenings & every day for breakfast. The staff there were friendly although only one of them spoke english. This was no problem to me, when in rome & all that but we got by with some pointing at the menus when needed. The receptionists all spoke english. The location to me was ideal, located at the north side of Maspalolmas on the whole it was very quiet. I did hire a car for the week, I booked prior to arrival via strawberry autos. The rates were far better than those offered by the Hotel. That said getting about withou was a doddle. Taxis are plentiful & you just flag a passing one down, they are not overly expensive either. You did get an inclusive bus pass for the duration of your stay for the daily return trip to the beach. We used this once due to the restricted timings of the return busses but in truth I leaves you with a few good hours on the beach before the sun cremates you.
On the whole the holiday was enjoyed. The one thing that would have made all the difference was airconditioning. But for the price Under £270.00 for flights & half board accom for the week I certainly could not complain about the value this hotel offered. I would not rule out returning again in the future. I will add photos when I get the chance.
