As we're only students, the place is affordable and excellent for its price. Staffs are super friendly, helped us with directions around Gran Canaria. A relaxing place to be, quiet at night time, no hassle at all.

arrived boxing night at 2am it was 20c had sun all week and 2 days it hit 29c most days 25c but the week before there was 6 days of rain missed that luckily--kiwi bungalows are quite ok its not 5 star and its not 5star price but you got all u want and it is clean and well kept the staff are very friendly and helpfull would go back but all bungalows are sold in march to the spanish so its shutting down-its 200yds to faro 2 shopping n bars etc take a taxi to the beach but dont walk too far along or you hit the nudist beach full of old ugly germans enough to put u off your beer
turn left out of kiwi and it takes 15 mins to walk to umbo centre and hard rock etc beer can be found for 2.40 and a short n coke is the same
if u cant enjoy the kiwi you got a problem -unless you just go on holiday to find fault cant see how you wont have a good time ps dont drink the vodka it makes you fall over

went to kiwi for a week on 2nd jan it was a lovely relaxing holiday walked along the beach from maspolomas to playa de ingles .most nights we ate at the poolside bar as joe cooks a great meal and is a lot cheaper than the faro 2 restaurants .we did go to broncamar steak house its the best steak u could ever eat in there every time we stay at kiwi we always go there and the staff are so friendly.anyway the weather was fantastic every day and im very upset we will not be going to kiwi again as they are being bought so beware if u book with a tour operater and you are going after 1st of march you will get put somewhere else as tour operaters are still taking bookings for there and not telling you they not available some have already sold as there where people living in them.

I booked a week last min thru Panorama/ Thomas Cook. I went with my Parents for a last min break before Christmas. I was dreading the hotel because it was sold as a 3 star. But the Shore Golden was not a 3 star its more a 4 star. This Hotel is about 30mins drive by Coach from the Airport. Its situated in Hadaba which now seems to be the Marbella of Rgypt. There is a lit up Walk way that allows you to visit the new il mercato shopping & entertainment centre. Now this place is less hten 4 mins walk from the hotel . It has 2 Starbucks all the new Shop from Timberland to Claires accessories. You wont be badgered here its a completely new experience for Egypt. If you want to Haggle at teh Markets then the old style shopping is available in Fantasia about 50 yrd down the road. Still walking distance. The hotel Offers a shuttle bus to a private Beach that is shared with 2 others Shores hotels, Now if you get eh shuttle your Mad its less then a 3 min walk to the beach so get out of the bus and walk its a lovely stroll. The hotels all Inclusive works down at the private beach so its geat. Also the Beach is life guards are in duty during day light hours. so your safe out to go snorkeling over the coral. this experience is just amazing, They also sell Life jackets at the beach for about 13 euro for the people who cant swim, The Food in the Shores Golden is outstanding I mean its 5 star food. We never once eat anywhere else but the hotel. The food and drink was more then anyone could ask for. If you read any bad reviews about the the food then those people are Mcdonal's kinda people and dont know what good food actually is.
The pools are spotless. The pool near reception which is the smaller one is for quite relaxing bathing no noise is allowed around this poor so its totally for chilling out. There is an activite pool with water polo, water volly ball swim up bar water aerobics etc which has a full tiem entertainemnt team working late in to the night. so Its great for the Kids and adults (big kids)
Ther rooms are clean well maintained. fresh towels every day and bed sheets. rooms are spotless. also beach towels are provided so you dont have to bring any woth you.
Book this holiday and you wont regret it.
